I have noticed that when you look for inspiration, you find it EVERYWHERE!
Inspiration is all Around~
I was browsing around here on  BodySpace today and foundfound SO many inspirational people…their determination to lose often more than 50pounds is AWESOME…

Then tonight at the gym, I was inspired by seeing others working out hard including a lady that was missing half her arm…NO EXCUSES!!

Anyhow~
I got to the gym late tonight, but I am so happy I went!!  It was almost 9:30 when I got there.

Warm up elliptical- hard for 6 mins
Squats
45×20
95×10
135×10x3
knee ups on roman chair 2×20

Leg curls (bent over version)
70×6
70×10
70×8

Smith lunges
70×10 (my back was being a bugger here), so that’s why the low weight

Knee extensions
90×20
130×10x2
150×10

Lower back extensions (butt empahsis)
no wtx50 to 60
25×20x2

Walking lunges
60×13 each leg

Run intervals
9mph for  hard mins- 5 1 min on:1min off, then 3 in a row
6mph easy mins
20 min on treddy total

40 knee ups on roman chair
Ab roller- 30 hard
ab roll obliques 20 each side

earlier today- 3 sets jump squats 15 followed by 10 jumpshots

Got my GAMEFACE on!!

It’s been a downright dirty game of life these past few days!! BUT…I have my gameface on!! And I think I am winning~
For a recap since my last post on FRIDAY…
Sat- worked on my new website that I’ve been working on revising since AUGUST…almost ready to go live!!
Sun- worked on the website a bit more…tomorrow is the big day!
Mon- went live with the site, but then we took it down :)
Tues- went live again with www.BuffMother.com, but my e-mail and RR (members area) went down
Wed…Working on getting my e-mail and RR up and running STILL, lol!

Besides the website stuff, I’ve been keeping busy with a few workouts…my back is better!!! AND I did a great leg workout yesterday :) .  I’ve also been working on many other projects including selling the snot out of my book, HT Pills and shirts!!  It has been a busy week.  Is it really only WED???

Anyhow…I am glad to see so many New Year Resolutioners kicking some tail…Keep it up!!!  You can accomplish your DREAMS…being BUFF is the BEST!!!

My Book Hormonal Timing: Female Fitness Evolved

First off~ Please remember today is ~FRIENDLY FRIDAY~

As you may have guessed I did a leg workout yesterday~
It was a really GREAT day for a workout, I needed it BAD….I got there, went tanning, did a warm up, saw a friend, then warmed up a bit more on leg press and then hit the squat rack!
For the first time in a couple weeks, I was feeling GREAT squatting!! I was strong and pain free!!
it was a SUCCESS~

Squat

135×10
155×8x2

then I did some Dead lifts
95×10x2 romainian
135×10 conventional( should have stopped here!)
135×6 TWEAK!! on my left lower back…I think I was pooped from all the squatting and didn’t EASE back into the heavier conventional DL’s Slow enough.

SO…from there on out my workout was a bit hampered and wimpy
I finished it with

Leg extensions
110×10
130×10x3

Seated Calf raises
70×20x2

Leg curls
70×10
80×8x2

Knee ups on roman chair 25

walking lunges
2×30steps with 60# on back

So last night I was in a bit of pain and today it feels more SORE than pain, so yet again I’ve learned my lesson and PROMISE to EASE into heavier weights on my legs smile I am sure I’ll be back to 100% by Tuesday…just in time to get a good Leg workout in.

My Plan for today is to do an upper body workout–keeping away from any painful movements. Then go from there!
My diet is going well, but not the best…I keep on forgetting about the NO WHEAT challenge. I’ve not had much but each day I’ve messed up~ Goldfish, Pizza and Croutons– ANYWAY…I shouldn’t even be eating that stuff period, much less when I am supposed to be doing a no wheat challenge. SO…I declare a “start over” for me tomorrow on that smile

Otherwise, I’ve been improving. I am continually becoming a better and better eater!!!

Okay, I’ve got to get to work on A PROJECT now.
I’ll post my workout later or tomorrow.

Lots Done!!

I got LOTS DONE today~ oh it is so nice the the world is operating normally again smile
For New Years Eve we all spent the night at my SIL’s house just like we did on Christmas Eve. It was GREAT! And then my 2 older kids stayed and spent the night last night there again!!! Finally today at about 3:30 their uncle brought them home. It was amazingly easy to have only 2 kids to care for yesterday and NONE today until 3:30!!! I was all alone in my house and free to get LOTS DONE!!! AND I did!

Anyhow, I did a mini workout tonight of
100 perfect push ups (7 sets total)
and 5 sets of the ab wheeel about 10 reps each

It was perfect to get my MOJO going~ and tomorrow I will hit the gym! For LEGS (BUTT)

Well, I am off to bed here soon, but thought I’d get a good post in for today!
I can’t believe tomorrow is THURSDAY already-

2008 Will BE GREAT!!!

Hey Ya’ll!!
I hope you’ve had a great HOLIDAY today and are ready to take 2008 by storm…”2008 WILL BE GREAT!”-  Is my motto~
I can’t wait to see what  the future holds!!!

I just took a few minutes to look back at my Jan. 1, 2 and 3 posts from last year.  Here is the direct link to my blog posts for the beginning of Jan 2007.  I am AMAZED at how I can forget so much of what happened just a year ago, lol.
That’s the GREATEST thing about having a blog…it is a GREAT record for life ;)

My 2007 Resolutions were this:

#1- BE POSITIVE at all times and NO Complaining
#2-Be the best BuffMother leader I can be! Keeping LOVE as the central focus in my pursuits. GOD is LOVE so in order to be Christ-like I MUST GUSH LOVE!!
#3-Start my day with 10 min alone time to journal a prayer and write my daily to do list
#4- Eat at least 2 servings of GREENS every day this year–365 in a row!!
#5-Train for and run an 800m race

I did rather well on my resolutions…I did #5 very successfully, I did #4 probably 300+days of the year, but I didn’t do the BEST at #3…I am not a morning person, so….I do better with doing that prior to bed or during another quite time of the day.  As for #1 and #2, I did well but there is always room for improvement, RIGHT?

So…..for 2008!  My resolutions will hopefully help me to keep moving forward in life and in LOVE. :love:

MY 2008 RESOLUTIONS!!!
#1- To be a “Light in the Darkness” for God, by showing His LOVE to others through my actions and by doing amazing things that are not possible without the POWER of GOD in one’s life.

#2- To have many fun ADVENTURES! -Go to Travis’ fights, to Disney world, To the BEACH, To MN and anywhere else where an adventure awaits!  I expect  to do some book signings, promotional tours, photo shoots, business trips, etc…. and I plan on making those fun!

#3-  To build my LEGACY…through being an example to my children in regards to my personal life, spiritual life, fitness life and business life.  I want to make it look easy to balance all aspects of being a mother, wife, friend and buff woman!  Life should be filled with JOY not stress and worry.

#4-  To have more personal “in person” relationships/friendships with people.  Get out and interact with the world, It is FUN!  I spent way to many hours isolated due to writing my book in 2007.  NOW i am ready to get out an interact again!!

#5-  To Revolutionize the World of Women’s Fitness through HORMONAL TIMING!!! YEAH HAW!!!  by giving every woman HOPE that she can live her dreams and there is HAPPINESS for her!  Life is supposed to be filled with SUCCESS not heartache.

Other items that I will strive to do include-
Post a GOOD blog daily
Workout on average 5 days/week
Eat at least 2 servings of Greens daily
Invest quality time with each of my kids
Have a lot of sex :)
Start training new clients again soon!
Help women who want to be trainers be "BuffMother! trainers"
Be a sweet, kind, gently and happy person always!
Read my BIBLE daily, even if it is just one verse

Today was a REST day for me…tomorrow I will hit it hard fitness wise again.
I plan to take pictures, measurements and stats~

I am so EXCITED, this year will be GREAT!!!!
