Hey Y’all!!
It is day 11 of 70….can you believe we are over 1/7th done with the contest!!! Let’s keep up the great mojo and BE HOTT for the upcoming holidays~ speaking of which Halloween is just 5 weeks away….The perfect amount of time to see some KILLER results and enable you to wear a FUN costume!! I may just have to dress up this year….HMMM….. I ‘ll have to get thinking and then find a PARTY to go to!
My peace today was found with DH…he just left now for work, a wee bit late BUT we had a GREAT POSITIVE conversation, a PINKY SWEAR and a prayer about out future life!!! It is so peaceful to know I have a partner in life- FOR LIFE!!! I found peace in my LOVE and intimacy with my DH!!!
My workout yesterday totally ROCKEDD!!!!!
I felt amazing for having been so ill this week….I think it may be the raisins I had pre-workout…EVERY TIME I EAT RAISINS I have KILLER workouts!!!

BIONIC WOMAN!!!! I used to love that show when I was a kid…now they have a new one…I think I may just have to watch it every week!!
And TUF!!! I love cage fighting!!
Now I need to get to work~ but I plan on getting to the gym after lunch for a leg workout!!

FUN!!! outside workout….But first since sept is find your peace month…..I found peace after shaving my legs today~ OH so much better now!!!
My workout was a FUN outside workout~ I love that it is cooling down a bit out there~ still about 80-85 though.
warm up
walk around the small block with the twins…about .5 mile
then backyard
Circuit #1-
inverted pull ups
lat focus 20, bi focus 12, rhomboid focus 12
lat focus 15, bi focus 10, rhomboid focus 15
paired with circle swing set (boxer stance/shuffle jabs)
alternating directions
2 times around x4, 3 times aroundx2
Circuit #2-
side jumps like speed skater
legs only
4 sets x 30 reps (total)
legs with upper side swing
2 sets x30 reps

I felt like I was going to puke when I had 2 sets left on circuit #2….so I took a bit extra break in there to jot down all I had done.
It was a GREAT workout~
I am so excited about this weekend, we get to go away for a FIGHT NIGHT with no kiddos~ It is going to be so fun!!!! I need this DATE BAD!!!

I was hoping to post this early this morning, but LIFE took over and now about 17 hours later, I am posting~
I found peace today having lunch with my friend Emily…she is so cool! I am happy to call her a friend.
My goal today was to get in a good workout, but guess what…it didn’t happen~ Oh well!
So here is my NEW POA for the week:
T- buffing begins…normally I’d take pics, but I’ll wait until later in the week so they can be my official Holiday Hottie starting pics!! I am so pumped for this contest- yehaw!!

I found my peace today in sleeping in….I had a little Layla join me, she is still not feeling 100%, but it was what I needed a bit of extra sleepy time with a little 4 year old.
I had no workout today, but I didn’t post last nights yet:

UFC last night, was very disappointing. All but one of “my fighters” lost…I like Bispbing who did win, but he didn’t deserve it, the fight was “fixed” in my opinion. OH well, that’s the sport, you never know what’s gonna happen!!
I am excited for this week!!! I’ll post my plan and stuff in the morning,
time to get the kids to bed!!

Where is the peace???
Let’s see….I found my peace today while working out to a Joyce Meyer message. It was about being passionate about your life and purpose. GOOD stuff!! It really fired me UP!!!
I did a couple small leg workouts today.
The first was early in the day~
I used some 15#DB’s that were laying on my bedroom floor and just started crankingout the lifts….I did a bunch of Squats, Deads, side lunges…then I went out to my garage and did more DEADS with the O-bar that had 95# on it. In total I worked out for about 9 mins on my legs and then I did some ball crunches.
Then this evening I did some more:
a ton more deads in my garage
a bunch of step ups
quite a few leg extension on bowflex and
also leg curls.
that session lasted about 20 mins or so….
I will be sore! all those new variations of exercises and the amount of deads I did will do the trick.

I am so confused…It feels like MONDAY to me for some reason today??
….Let’s first catch up on my PEACE!
I felt peace yesterday from accomplishment…I got a lot of important stuff done in the morning for business.
I felt peace today when I was in the shower…some days showers just feel soooooo good!
As many of you know I am in a time crunch to LAUNCH a huge Hormonal Timing by BuffMother! campaign…we are putting together several things all set to launch this fall…SO, I am BUSY! I have website stuff going, products being designed, my book to finish, business stuff to track, etc…. I am really enjoying much of it, but I am so excited to have this phase soon behind me. And the FUN part of really HELPING tons of people to do! I realized the other day when designing a fitness program for one of my clients, that is what I enjoy the most…my mission is simple to HELP people with my God given abilities.
Workouts have been tough to get done, in all this craziness…but yesterday I did! I had about 20 mins to spend and so I ran 5 mins warm up and then 6 approximately 100m sprints with less than 1 min rest. It was perfect!
Today, I had a leg workout on tap, but SEVERAL things have kept me from it so far…I may do a mini workout for legs in my HOME gym later, but I’ll have to see how much energy I have left after I get done with my "evening mommy chores"
Overall I am VERY determined to at least maintain a decent level of fitness and nutrition during this amazingly busy time of my life, it is SO important…and being BUFF is SOOOO worth the effort!!!

I love the start of new months~ it is always like a mini-NEW year’s resolution time for me. I think about my goals, what I hope to accomplish, what I am RESOLVED to do….
Being that Sept 1 was on a Saturday, I kinda blew it off until today~ But my major resolve this month is to find PEACE! So I thought it’d be a great time to have another "theme"month in here similar to some of may others: PMA month, I believe, I am proud, I am thankful, etc….
I Declare, "SEPTEMBER is PURSUE PEACE month!" Let’s try to reflect, journal or blog daily about something we experienced that day that gave us PEACE. A HUGE part of having peace in our lives is identifying what gives us peace and shooting to incorporate more of it into our daily routines.
So for instance:
Thursday- I found peace swinging my daughter on a tire swing outside
Friday- I found peace going on a trip to the grocery store with my oldest daughter Gracie- just her and I
Saturday- I found peace outside on the trampoline
Sunday- I found peace cleaning my closet while listening to music
Let’s shoot to identify PEACE in our lives and GO after it more!
Since this is my blog…I’ll fill you in on my yesterday….I had a REST day, off of the computer, off of my normal "work" routine, off of workouts– I needed it! I think we all need at least 1 day a week of REST.
I rested but I still did plenty of stuff…I cooked quite a bit, I cleaned out my closet, we went shopping (all over town) for football equipment and then I played some catch with Gunner before bed time.
THE BIGGEST news of the day was rather sad! Layla CUT her hair off again….she did it last fall and it was just growing back to a decent length and yesterday she butchered it off! It is HORRIBLE!!! so there is no way she can be in the beauty pageant now…I think we’ll have Gracie step in to her spot. I’ll post some of the sad pictures later.

I have had a nice and peaceful day today~ I feel good!
Thanks everyone for your sweet comments about my tv piece…it is fun to have another to add to my media file, lol! …the DR’s office called me on Thursday asking if I’d be willing to do it and I couldn’t pass it up– we shot at 3:30 and it had to air at 5! I am in awe of how fast they can do the editing!!
