Can you say MIRROR MOTIVATION???

Oh man I am a sweaty mess!!   and do you know why?

MIRROR MOTIVATION!!

I felt like going easy on my itervals, maybe kinda slacking, but as I put on sports bra #2 in the locker room I saw my reflection in the mirror and was instantly MOTIVATED~~I love it!!
So I ran my booty off in my intervals and now feel SUPER
:wow:

prior to my intervals I did this:
r-bike
10 min
elliptical 10 min

paired:
cybex lat pulls 120×10
140×10x4
push ups
15 reps x4 sets

Bench
95#x10×4
kneeups on roman chair
3 sets of 25

Seated rows
#90×20
Ab wheel
3 sets 15, 12, 10

more ab crunches

then I ran intervals
6 min warm up
then a min at 7,8,9,10,8,9,10,8,9,11, 8,9,11,7, 8 then finished with some jogging at incline 6% at 6 mph
Total of 25 min

Well Off to eat, shower and get my sissy from the airport

In other good news, My house is on the mend!! While we were at the gym and gymnastics, my “helper” Dayna, came over and cleaned for a couple of hours and I quote” Michelle, I don’t think your house has ever been this messy!” She should have seen it last night before I cleaned TIA and LAYLA’s mess up and before I did about 10 loads of laundry.

ANYHOW~ it feels good to have it cleaner.

Here’s the report:

One week left~What is your PLAN OF ATTACK??

HI All!!
With Christmas only a week away it is often easy to forget taking care of yourself on your TO DO LIST~  REMEMBER, that you need to have consistency in your workouts and have NO EXCUSES–so try to find a way to fit a few workouts into this crazy week!

Here is my POA for this week:

M- legs at around 10 am - the girls have gymnastics at 1–cleaning day with my helper
T- Back at around 1:30 to 2pm -(the kids have a party at school not sure how long that goes and then I have to be home by 3:45 for Gunner)
My sissy comes!! and my MIL and BIL too!!
W- Intervals for sure, maybe some sort of light lifting
Thurs- Chest at around 10 am….my sister will be in town and I am gonna see if she will go with me…and maybe to pilates :)
Friday..probably Legs again or maybe just intervals, depends on family
Saturday- Legs or back–depending on FRIDAY, gym in the am w/DH maybe, my sissy too? PICTURES!! Measurements, weight!!
Sunday- no workout
Monday- my sissy leaves early in the morning, Christmas no planned workout

Somewhere in there too I have to find time to shop and spend as much time with my sister. So my time on the computer will be limited. BUT I will surely check in!

As soon as I am done here i have to go clean up a disaster the twins made in their room. They tore everything out of their closet today–TONS of clothes and toys, etc!! It is not GOOD!!

9 days to go!! ’till I found out if I’ve been good

Well I am up early today for some weird reason.  I am not a morning person, but my daughter woke me up at 6:30 and I couldn’t fall back to sleep–which is so NOT like me!  I wish every morning I had this much energy and spunk to get the day started~~ :woohoo:

Alrighty- I am here to write down my POA for today!
I have so much to get done, so I need to figure out what is the most important things to choose to do and what is feasible with 4 kids in tow~ Travis is still in LA…so I am on my own today.

Here is the list:
Send out a BuffMother Shirt order
Box up and Mail Secret Santa gift
fold Christmas letter
Stuff Christmas Cards
Stamp Christmas Cards
LIck Christmas Cards–oh icky!, I’ll get the kids to do this, hee, hee
Clean Gunner’s room an closet
Clean out van and detail the inside
Get outside and enjoy the weather
Get my workout done-back, bi’s, shoulders, intervals, tan
Shave my legs–this is 2 weeks over due
Put on some self tanner so I am HOT for DH when he gets back from seeing all the hotties in LA, lol
Clean my house–this could seriously take me the entire day, but I need to just do enough so that on MONDAY when my little neighbor girl helper comes over, I have set JOBS for her.
Do Laundry~ ack! I have not done a load since mon or tues–what a mess!
Go Shopping for Grocieries and Christmas presents

Okay, that didn’t help one bit!  Now I really don’t know what to do?

Well the kids just got up~ so I am off to figure this out!

My workout today:
I got to the gym later than I wanted and only had an hour to workout–since I’ve been a slacker about running I decided to do it first today!

SO I ran intervals on the treddy for 20 mins, all done at a 2% incline:
warm up for 4 mins then 1 min hard at 10mph/1 min easy at 8mph and one of my hard intervals I went for 2 mins :)
Then my lifting was short and sweet:

One set inverted pull ups to warm up
2 sets pull ups 10, 5+5 with 20#assit
paried with 2 sets standing military 45×10, 65×10

2 sets bicep curls 45# bar x15 reps
paired with  2 sets arnold’s one are at a time 20’sx10

2 sets hammer curls 20’sx6,9 really focusing on shoulders
paired with 2 sets bent over lateral raises 15′x x10

one set shoulder rehab rotaters 10#x10

Then I was gonna tan but the beds were 100degrees and I was already hot, so I skipped it.

Now I am working on my list~ off to shave!!

10 days ’till Christmas!!

I am eating my oatmeal right now in preparation to Kill my booty again!  I am really seeing the fruits of my efforts this week, I feel great and am leaning up ever so slowly–man if I wouldn’t have had that binge, I’d be at 125 probably.  Instead I am holding steady at 126 for now.  BUT, eating greens and protein really works!!

So… Last night, I finally got my Christmas letter written and this morning them printed off.  AND today, I worked hard on getting a huge document of website updates sent to my web designer…and I still have a ton more to send off, but at least I am getting started towards "gearing up" for the New Year!

I know it is slow around here today, but Ladies be prepared for the RESOLUTIONS to HIT come Jan 1!!!  It will bring a ton of excitement to the RR…

I will be back to edit this with my workout after I get it done!

Hello!!  I’ve been away one day and I have missed you terribly~

Well….so are you wondering what I’ve been up to–
Yesterday: I got my hair cut, highlighted/lowlighted and worked~and rested it was my day off of workouts. Now my hair is shorter than it has been in about 3 years, whaaaa! I am having hair cut remorse, lol– it looks good, but I just like my hair LONG. I was doing stellar on my diet until last night–silly christmas sugar cookies!! 1 cookie, led to 2 cookies, led to popcorn which led to an ice cream sandwich! OH MAN~ I am such a carb addict! Chocolate
Last night we watched the UFC Fight Night on Spike–LOVED IT!! One of my FAVS Diego won in a stellar fashion, it was really fun to see! Hi Five I can’t wait until the next fights on the 30th–they will be a BLAST to watch!!

Today: it is Gracie’s birthday! She is 5 today!!! UNREAL…I worked all morning, brought Travis to the airport, then worked out. FEELING GREAT!!

Happy Birthday Saturday…16 days till Santa!!

Well today is Gracie’s Birthday Party- so I am "prepping" for that experience, lol!

I just got the cake from Wally World–Oh MY it was busy there! Now all I have left to do is wrap and get myself and the girls beautified. Then we will be heading to our fav b-day spot Chuckie Cheese!

This morning I went to the gym with DH, he has been taking some time off to rest his injured ribs…and guess what - he has lost 19 pounds in less than 6 weeks– I think that is CRAZY! 199 to 180

Leg/Booty Day- 17 days ’till Santa :)

Well…I had a good day.  I am feeling better in so many ways it is wonderful woohoo TGIF!!

My day went kinda like this:
Got the girls off to mom’s day out and preschool
Came home and worked
Headed out to lunch at COPELANDS with DH
Had a super fun time eating my favorite chicken and yams there
Then went to Wal-mart to shop for sweet little Gracie, and also picked up some x-mas gifts for the other kiddos
Then hid the gifts in my ATTIC (so more fun up there)
Got the girls
Had leftovers from lunch for my PWO
Fed girls and Gunner too–
Went to the gym, I love the gym on Friday evenings- no one is there!

Here is the lowdown on my workout–and YES, it is a lot of LUNGES!!

Warm up r-bike 7 mins- this felt like an eternity for some reason

The I did 10 mins of steady state fairly hard cardio on the elliptical.

So I was VERY happy with this workout, I felt so much stronger than yesterday!!
Wow  It is amazing how quickly we get stronger–our bodies are amazing machines with unlimited potential
