Amazing!

Had a wonderful workout today! I’ve been making sure I put my all into my workouts and I leave the gym a hot mess haha. I just can’t get over how I’m seeing little changes already and I’m so energized and happy all the time, it’s awesome! I started taking a new fat burner today, Adipo X I think it’s called and lemme tell you, I got insane amounts of energy from it! I so far am very happy with the energy side of the product, hopefully it will help me get to where I want to go with my fitness goals. I’m still worried about numbers on the scale and need to get it in my head that it doesn’t matter what the scale says, it’s how I look and feel. That’s the main thing and it’s why I’m doing this in the first place anyway. Of course I want to be comfortable in my own skin and though I don’t look bad, I’m my own worst critic and there is a lot of work that needs to be done with this body in my eyes! There is always room for improvement, no matter what!
I’m amped and hyped, today was a good day! Hope everyone is doing well with their fitness goals!

Amazing!

Oh no!

Well, I’m not happy to say my workouts have been sidetracked the past week :(
My doctor has me on a very strong medication and it’s making me drowsy 24/7 not to mention giving me the shakes and just overall making life very difficult as of right now. I WANT and NEED to get back to the gym but I’m listening to my body and if I’m not feeling well enough to go and give it my all (or at least some) then it’s not meant to be for now. I’m hoping to feel well enough by the weekend to be able to get a workout or 2 in. I’m taken aback by my lack of ambition lately and my lack of energy. I know I just need to let my medication do it’s work and then I will be back and better than ever, it’s just very frustrating to have done so well and began to accomplish so much in such a short time period that to have to put my goals on the backburner is aggravating.

Full of energy!

Another day, another workout!! I’m thankful I got to fit my workout when I did…. early enough that I wasn’t draggin my behind to the gym, but late enough that it didn’t cut into my day! I had an amazing workout and I’m still feeling the effects of it! I’m energetic and feeling more alive than I have in weeks :)
I’ve been going through some personal things that have got me down slightly. That’s why I’m so ambitious when it comes to working out, it helps me clear my mind and gives me something to look forward to! It has saved me the past few days. Moving on.. I just had the last cigarette of my life!!! I’m trying to maintain a positive attitude about my body and my goals for the upcoming year and beyond. I figure, if I don’t drink b/c it’s bad for me then why is it ok to smoke? My answer is simply "It’s a much harder habit to break". I have smoked off and on for about 7 years and it has become the most disgusting habit I have ever endured. I always try to quit and then I get stressed out or upset about something and reach for my cigarettes. I need to learn that cigarettes don’t make stress go away, they only make me dependant on something that I should not want to put in my body! So today is a new day, I have a new outlook and I’m going to do my best and instead of saying "I’m going to TRY to quit smoking" I’m going to say "I HAVE quit smoking".
I know this time it will work out for me since I am now viewing my body as my temple. If I wouldn’t want my children to smoke b/c of the effects over time, then I should treat myself the same way. I have to be a role model and everything I do is for my children and I intend to keep it that way :)

 

So glad I got up off my butt :)

I’m sooooo happy with my workout today and how amazing I feel now!!!! I spent a couple hours hitting cardio pretty hard and had an AWESOME leg/glute workout :) I don’t feel as poor as I did earlier today…. I have my energy back!!!! YESSS! I knew that as long as I got the motivation to get up off of my behind and make it to the gym everything would be ok. I spent about 2 hours working out today.. might go back for a spin class tonight, but it’s highly unlikely :( … I simply don’t have the time!!! If only there were more hours in a day…
Well, I’m out… gotta update my workout and start making supper for my little ones :)

Even being sick won’t hold me back!

I’m terribly sick this morning :(   I’m sure my little girl gave me her head cold…. ahhhhh!!! I’m so awfully sick that I don’t even want to move much less head out in the middle of a winter storm to go to the gym for my work out!!!
But, no pain no gain!!!!! So out in the storm I’ll go with my awful cold right alongside me.. and I’ll KILL my workout!
My aim today is to burn 800 calories with cardio and I plan on working legs and core. Since I’m just really starting to get back into weight training, I’m finding it difficult to remember which excercises I enjoyed the most and which ones I saw quick results with. Trial and error is gonna be playing a huge role for the time being. But that doesn’t bother me….. there comes a time when starting a program that it’s neccessary for trial and error.. not all excercises work the same for everyone.
Thank goodness I wrote in here today… I’m pumped up more now and I know I’ll have an even better workout than I was first planning on!!!
