Losing all motivation

I am writing tonight because I have lost all motivation to work out. I am not sure why. I am very happy and content with my life right now so it is not a consequence of being sad, lonely or depressed etc. I just feel like I have better things to do, but I don’t want to feel that way because I have come so far. To give it up would mean that I would have to start over eventually and I don’t want that. I haven’t been going enough to need to take a break. This really sucks.

Your loss of motivation sounds like it is coming from being happy actually. I agre with alresch by setting yourself a new goal, but a small goal at first to be able to reach and not crush the little bit of motivation that you will need and get. If you need any insipration please let me know and i will try to help.

Sounds like you’ve either hit a plateau, or you’re bored with your current routine. Try changing it up. If you haven’t already try a kickboxing or boxing class. Something that utilizes all phases of fitness, so that you are constantly moving, and not resting as you would in between sets.If that does the trick you just might find the excitment to continue moving towards your fitness goals.
    Peace!
