I Need Your Input!
One of my wife’s and my favorite things to do on Sunday morning is to lie around in bed and watch classic cartoons on Boomerang. Today while watching our toons we got into a discussion about what was the greatest toon of all time. My wife likes the Pink Panther and the Ant and the Aardvark. Myself I really like old Tom and Jerry toons but it’s hard to go against the old Looney Toons. So I thought I would ask you all…what’s your favorite toons? Don’t act like you don’t watch em because you know you do. I mean how can you not sit down and watch an old Scooby Doo episode if you come across it Chanel surfing. Let’s get real folks. I’m really anxious to get your input. Thanks everyone!

Omg…I LOVE Pepei le Peu (probably spelt wrong)! The stinky loverboy skunk was always my fav! lol

2 great choices. The coyote is pretty cool I have to agree Roxy.
Vanessa misuer le pu is one of my favs also. I’m not a fan of the Dutch Oven however. Those crazy Dutch.

The problem with PePe is that he ALWAYS just has one thing on his mind…..:)
The roadrunner likes to eat, run and beep…a real physical fitness multi-tasker….bwhahahaha!

I’m with you Bryan, old Tom and Jerry are my favorite. But you cant count out Yosimite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn and the Old Daffy Duck. Also and old Johnny Quest is’nt bad either. Plus I have to admit that I was a He-Man fan when I was a kid. lol.

Yeah Nom I love it when Jerry clobbers old Tom. Hey I forgot about Johnny Quest. I really liked watching that too. As far as adult cartoons it’s hard to beat Bevis and Butthead.
March 30, 2008 at 7:23 pm
Yeah…and let’s not forget SouthPark. I’ve seen that show, Chowder, on Cartoon Network a few times, too, in bits and pieces…..I’m gonna look into that!

Growing up - Jem, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Care Bears, My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite, Transformers, Muppet Babies (mostly Fozzie - waka waka waka!), and Tom and Jerry.
Current ones - Family Guy and The Simpsons (well, though it hit its peak about 3-4 years ago), hands down! Though The Boondocks and South Park is pretty damn hilarious, too.

Dangit - and She-Ra and He-Man!!

h*ll yeah pixi…he man! I was also a fan of the original x-man series and Eek the cat!! And yes, I have two kids…I watch cartoons everyday!! My son watched Tom and Jerry for the first time the other day and laughed his butt off! It was great seeing him into it. He is also a big fan of scooby doo. I guess those would be my pics too! Pink Panther bored me….sorry bryan’s wife!

Oh yeah Danica I love South Park too. Cartman kicks ass!
Pixi I forgot Alvin and the Chipmunks. I really liked them too.
Hey Mike we used to have a cat named Eek! I’m with you my man…Pink Panther bored the hell out of me. I mean the stupid thing couldn’t even talk. My wife really likes the stupid Smurfs too.

I remember learning about DNA from GI-Joe….
Thundercats were pretty awesome when I was coming up. Speed Racer… Robotech (especially the third wave with the motorcycles) … Star Blazers. Transformers was a favorite of mine as well. For the basics, Looney Toons is tough to beat… tons of material most of it hillarious..
March 31, 2008 at 11:26 am
well I watched all the WB cartoons when I was little, loved Road Runner and the Coyote, Yosemite Sam, those dogs that watched the sheep… you know the ones, they punched in with the coyote? I also loved Speed Racer (wish ALL THE TIME I had a Mach 5) and I watched Kimba the White Lion, although I did find a $1 DVD of the show and it’s not like I remember… ? Deputy Dawg, Huckleberry Hound and Underdog, Riccochet Rabbit, Yogi Bear, (am I showing my age too much? LOL)
March 31, 2008 at 1:15 pm
Hell yes to the Robotech. I’m also going to shout out for Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Oh Bryan how can you say the smurfs are stupid?? I’ve never really watched too many cartoons but I do like the smurfs and Pinky and the Brain! "Tonight we’re gonna take over the world!" LOL!!

For me growing up my fav was Woody Woodpecker he he he HE he!!!, then as I got older it was He-man, Transformers, GI Joe… nowadays, Simpsons, Family Guy and Robot Chicken ( I guess that can be classified as cartoon LOL)
April 1, 2008 at 7:33 am
OMG! Smurfs, Snorks, Gem, Woody Woodpecker, Chilly Willy the Penguin, Pinky and the Brain, Southpark, Rainbow Brite….how I miss them! My Little Pony. Although, I personally have to say "Fraggle Rock" has to be my all time favorite series (not a huge fan of the animated one though, gotta be the Muppets!)
April 1, 2008 at 7:34 am
Mike–totally forgot about x-men! LOVED that one too!
April 1, 2008 at 7:58 am

Some of us are showing our ages here
I remember absolutely LOVING Underdog. It was never on where I lived, so I was always excited to go to my grandmother’s to see it. I think there is a movie coming out of it. I’m sure they’ll butcher it!
April 3, 2008 at 3:28 pm
Ok I have to confess I loved Underdog as well. I can still sing the theme song. My all time favorite though is Mighty Mouse!!! Yeah that’s right….I’m that old damn it! LOL!!
April 3, 2008 at 7:00 pm
I’m a Tom and Jerry girl at heart……and in more recent times……Pinky and the Brain……and Family Guy…..but I have a warped sense of humour. My brother loved underdog, he even had the Pj’s…..and YES Mighty Mouse, now that mouse had it going on!
April 5, 2008 at 9:08 am
I love some of the classic Tom and Jerry toons, but my very favorites would be some of the Roadrunner toons from Warner. Oh, and Sylvester the cat can make me crack up as well
April 7, 2008 at 1:47 pm
I’m with Stormi on Pe-Pe-Le-Pew. Pe-Pe is seduction in toon form.
And I am also with Gemini on the Fraggles, because I AM a fraggle at heart.
