I’m So Much Cooler Online!!!
Although I am a true Rocker at heart I do on occasion listen to country music as long as it’s something with some drive like Montgomery Gentry or Big and Rich!! The reason I’m letting you in on that little tidbit of info is that I sometimes watch CMT when I’m bored and there is a video on there by Brad Paisley (Don’t know if I spelled that right) titled, "I’m So Much Cooler Online!
The premise of the video is how anyone can be anything they want on the Internet….even a thong wearing, bi-sexual nympho as we all recently learned!
I often wonder as I’m trolling BB.com how many of the people in their profiles are in real life as they appear online.
Just reading a profile doesn’t give you a real feel for who the person truly is. I myself am not really as suave and sophisticated as I appear online. Although still ruggedly handsome in real life I am about as "Get Back To the Earth" as one can get without living in a hippie commune!!
I mean I bath daily and work for a living but I have a year round garden and grow almost every veggie I eat….and it’s all organic! I have electric lights but we burn candles most of the time. My last electric bill was $28.00!!
We are far from being poor but I am very fragile as is my wife….we pinch every penny and every penny is accounted for. I could afford a new vehicle but I choose to drive a 1987 Isuzu Pickup and a 1987 Honda Accord both of which look like shit but runs like a top. We heat our house on sunny winter days with 2 solar space heaters that sit in our windows. BTW I built them myself! Right now the gas company owes me $187.00!!!
People might also be surprised to learn that a head injury a few years ago wiped out a nice little chunk of my memory and now people I’ve known for years are nothing more than total strangers.
The purpose of this blog was to give the handful of people who reads it a little insight into Bryan G the person not just the Internet icon!! If anyone else would like to share a little bit about themselves please feel free…..just don’t tell me you used to work for the CIA or that you’re actually a thong wearing bi-sexual nymphomaniac!!! uhhhhh unless you have pictures you’d like to share!!!

Ok, here goes. I am the real life Wonder Woman. I drive my Mazda because well, gas prices are outragous and commuting in my invisible jet was just getting to be too much. My golden lasso is really a licorice rope painted gold, so I always have a snack on hand. But they really call me Wonder Woman because they all wonder what the hell is wrong with this woman! hehe By the way, Cia was in my last life but we’ll discuss that later.

LOL Bryan you’re too funny! I think a lot of people aren’t IRL who they seem online. Notable exceptions, of course.
I need to build me some solar panels!! Except that I don’t think my north facing windows would work…
And no, there is nothing below Weenie Weight. That’s why it’s called Weenie Weight. "Think of it this way, honey, it doesn’t get any lighter!" I hate hearing that… lol

I do agree with the entry, though - you get a feel of a personality online, but it definitely is not as accurate as knowing them in real life.

I didn’t like that song at first because it made me think of all the people who snow other people online. But now I’ve relaxed about it and just laugh, because of the one line that he "grows a foot and loses weight just logging in" It is harder to know people when you don’t actually speak to them or interact face to face, but some of us who "hang out" together on a regular basis, read each other’s blogs and email or PM here and there, I think we’ve gotten pretty much the "essence" of each other… I’m a semi-computer nerd, who likes to be outside and don’t especially like to play the "I’m just a girl" card, unless it has to do with cars… LOL I like people who are honest, even if it’s brutally honest, and I try to be open and honest myself. I like to laugh, and appreciate a good sense of humor, but not at others’ expense. Hmmm, what else? I don’t know… I’m very self conscious, so all of this public exposure is really a very big step for me! Um, what did you want to know again???
