First time for Animal Test and Stak combo

Got the BB.com shipment on 9-26 which was a rest day. I started the same day and increased protein shakes to twice a day. I usally bulk up fast with double shakes and big clean eats. This includes one pound of cottage cheese a day. I wanted to post that I got the Thumper of a 3 day headache on 9-27-08 around 8AM. I was suspect if the supps were causing the headaches? I feel fine (excellent) today and think I was fighting off alergy to season change of molds? Or maybe some kind of immune system reaction to flu or cold germs. Again…very coninsidental. Should I ever try this combo I hope it does not happen again!! I’m posting wo in Bronzebirds OV35 Journal. I have not logged the supps in my journal but will post comments back here when the supps are done. Program is an 6 week cycle then M-stak for post cycle of 3 weeks.

Projected finish will be november 29th.

Third cycle of Animal Stak

This cycle was started August 1st and on the first week my left tricep was stressed and took about 5 weeks to heal. Since I started the cycle I stuck with it and was not going 100% because of the shoulder, tri, and elbow was mending. Can not say that this was a productive cycle with lifting stats of workouts. However I was doing push ups till the arm gave me the signal to stop. Slight needle pain at injury locations. Well after doing push ups for 3o minutes about once a week and light db shoulder and db squats. My introduction to lifting heavy was truley surprising that I put up my heaviest incline bench of 238×2 on the Hammer Strength Incline bench. Great machine for working out solo and working Neg reps.

How much did the stak help? I do not know but it sure did not hurt anything ;)

5day split and 21 Day Animal Stak Cycle

Just finished the 21 day Stak supplement and 3 weeks into my new routine. I’m very happy with increased intensity of workouts and results. Body weight is the same and the skin fat is getting thinner. Vascularity is comming out and the cut is starting to show. Tweaking calories for my fast metabolism to maintain muscle growth has been tricky. I load protein before and after wo. Torrent shake works for me as a post shake with creatin and trusted Animal technology. That said, I will try Muscletech Halo for one month. Some beliefs are; that it is good to make a change up in Supplements. And some believe "if it aint broke don’t fix it!". The Halo will cost more to use because their is no protein in the post wo formula. And I need to load protein around wo!

Lawn Scape

Did not feel like working out today. I had a mild headache most of the day? Did manage to tuff through the Blah’s on get two yards of Dark Hemlock bark dust. Took about 30 minutes each load to spread around front yard. I had a Alka-seltezer to knock the edge off of nagging mild pain behind the eyeballs. I then got hungry all of a sudden and went for the Terriyaki dinner at my local eatery. The meal has grilled chicken breast, sliced beef rib eye on the bone, tempura pork, 1 cup of mixed cabbage and carrots, 2 cups of white rice, 6 oz of terriyaki sauce, and 1 ounce of pickled ginger. I have rice and chicken to heat up now. I tipped the scales at 191 tonight and skin is up a little to 13mm. I’m ok with a little fat but want to keep the waist in check. Measured 36.5"  and need to keep at or below 36" for now.

Wow, stats versus feeling weak

I felt weak on the bench today because I failed my PR attempt of 228. But overall reps and weight moved was a new PR? I did not feel I was putting in that much effort because of the failure on PR. I must have been pissed enough to bench more weight post failure. Lats was another PR on weight moved. And rows were pretty high and finished with double reps on last set. Time to add more reps per sets next time on cable row. After the workout I felt wornout and swole. Then went straight to Walmart and bought a new lawn mower for 208 dollars. My heaviest lift today was 208, whats the odds of that being coincidental? Any who I came home and poured the supplied quart of oil into the fuel tank by accident. I am pleased that draining the fuel system all the way to the carb float bowl was user friendly. And hoses came off and back on slick as Reindeer Slobber. (very easy!) I better go check and see if the fuel tank is empty and oil is recovered in the pre-measured container. They say Ignorance is bliss. I just feel like a dummy for not familarizing my self with the new mower better.

Morning Work Out

After last nights work out I thought I might be a bit sluggish this morning in the gym. I had cereal, toast, and a pork tamle for breakfast. Then downed a quick 10 onces of Shock Therapy 20 minutes later. I did Super Sets on Bi’s and Tri’s. The pump was most noticable on Bi’s. My Tri’s don’t really feel that tight, but they do get burned till failure. Then progression on Lats till time ran out on my break. I had 20 onces of Torrent post workout beverage. Got a good pump in the gym and overall felt good rest of the day! I’m wondering why my energy has been high lately, even without Shock Therapy? My goal is to stay physically healthy and not push to hard where the body winces. (tendons)

Typical supplement timing before and after evening workouts

Animal Pak at 7pm, Muscle Milk at 7:30, Animal Pump at 8pm, Storm at 8:30. Workout started with the 5 min Life fitness stress test warm up, H2o break, Bench and matched PR on 3rd set, H2o break, 3 more sets on bench, H2o break, Lats 4 sets, H2o break, 2 more sets, Lats 4 sets, H2o break, 2 more set and Finish with Torrent post work out, Jacuzzi for 15 min, Shower and go home, ZMA at 10:45pm. Soup snack after this post at 11:30 then bed time with wake up at 6:45 am.

I moved alot of weight tonight and matched my incline pr and new Lat pr. Overall I was not expecting to make new benchmarks it just felt like the right time to push a little harder at the moment. So my plans on plate changes went in attack mode for some unknown reason? 208 went up 2.5 times. I’m thinking 225 will be at the end of the month…Next week!!

Watching Spike TV and hitting some bicep curls

As the sun sets in Oregon I got a good pump while watching UFC Night on Spike tv. I measured the guns at 15.5 after workout. Progress to 16’s will get there eventually. I have faith that goals will be met as long as I stay in good health. Hard to believe that I increased 1.25 inches in the last 5 months. I don’t see the growth in weekly progress, I can only trust the measurements. I’m still sitting at 190 lb, waist is down again at 36". Skin thickness on hip is 11mm and is the best measurement to date at aprox 22% body fat.

Feeling the pain

Man tonight I felt pretty good in joints and tendons. I failed on the incline of 208. But was lifting 3 sets of failure reps prior to tackling 2oo pounds. I feel like next week should be stronger if all goes well in recovery time. Lat pull downs is where I hit a fatigue wall after the 5th set of 150lbs. I just could not recovery in 90 second rest period. Makes me wonder if it is lack of protein (energy)? I may need to try a protein shake during a workout and see if that helps. I sat in the Jacuzzi and felt pretty good!
