I decided to hit the pushups one more time and 300 is getting closer. I increased by 20 from last week. Next week should be last attemp to hit 300 push ups. Then I’ll be going back to incline bench with a PR goal of 225lbs. Still looking for a workout partner to use free weights on the bench.

I’ve been modifing my SEE FOOD diet. Now I skip the high fat foods like cheese and drink less sweet beverages like Orchatta (mexican rice milk). I used to eat one pound Oregon burritos(beef, potato, cheese, onion, cilantro) twice a week for lunch. Now I’ve been ordering the less caloric Carne Assada burrito. It has no cheese and is loaded with beef and Picodigilo. Also started new Muslce Milk formula with no lactose as a in between meal snack once a day. I’ve also been doing extra little mini workouts once a day. Such as hitting some pull ups, dips, leg ups, push ups. Just doing something on a off day for a muscle group. I weighed in at 185 today and hip skin thickness is 12 mm. Body fat is estimated at 18%. I’m starting to see some abs peek through the gut. Continual cuts and regular workout schedule should show more loss as I seem to be losing weight almost too fast for this hard gainer. I may need to keep a lean diet and increase Muscle Milk between meals.

I was fortunate to have access to a universal cable and old universal machine. Started off with lats first and finished with light weight incline flies. I’m trying to do a quick change up in routine before going for new assault of training for new PR on incline press and curls. The morning workout was done on a day I worked a unplanned double shift. So I was tired at the end of my shift and slept hard. Today I feel a little of the doms but not bad. Storm supp was great for a tight pump and energy level was high. I’ve got to get a travel kit for supps. Because sometimes at work I get an oprotunity to get a nice workout while getting paid!!

I got an email yesterday for a "come back coupon" at 10% off. I sat down last week to order Muscle Milk and left the web site with my order in the shopping basket. I don’t know if this is a automated response? Anyway, I ordered ZMA. They say it helps with sleep and testosterone. Ordered pre-workout Storm and Shock Therapy. I got some free samples of the pre-workout stuff and the pumps were really good. And I got more Post workout Torrent. The flavor is not to bad (now) after aquirring the taste for Muscle Fuel. I did not think I would ever order Torrent again, but I think it helps muscle recovery and growth!! I still get the DOMS but I’m WORKING failure Reps on most Sets after warm ups! Also I’m starting to cut fat for the SUMMER!!
Gasparini, Nitrix and MuscleTech, Halo look like another option for pre and post workout supplements. Also I still want to try Orange Tri-ad one of these days. Loyalty to Universal is because all of their Supps are designed to work well together.

I got some rest today and decided to workout at home on Timed Push Up’s and some Bicep curls on the barbell with 54 pounds. After workout I took some progress pictures that are disapointing because most pics taken were out of focus big time and had to delete them. So what I have posted are not the best poses but best in focus…

I did a shoulder shrug routine at work on Saturday morning. My right shoulder had a bad pinch inside the joint (so it felt) last attempt to shurgs. Today, I warmed up with lighter weight and the pinch was slight. As I got warmed up and increased weight the pinch was very minor and recovery was excellent with no pain 2 days later. This pinch is most notable when I throw a football or baseball. Same thing I have to warm up with 20′ throws and in crease distance. Not sure why the pinch is there, but my best guess is shoulder joint (cartlidge/ rotator cuff) is feeling the pain from a life of ocassional weekend seasonal sports. I do not think its from Martial Arts…However the numb-chucks a very pain on the right side last summer. And the torque (spining sticks) may have been the final straw that broke this camel’s shoulder.(so to speak)
My work has filled my free time since Spring break from my studies. We now have an additional 3rd shift that is "open", which makes for more over-time "offers". I feel a sense of team obligation to work when nobody else does. If not, the open shift will be filled by a Newbie out of the "new staff pool". And that usally means more work, teaching and explaining why things are done a certain way. The staff then goes back into the pool and hopefully he/she is available next open shift. Soon the new staff will be hired and things will be back to 40 hours a week.

Got tied up at college for Spring Registration and book return$. I ate at Tin-Tins all you can eat Chineese buffet. Rice rolls were delicious. The gym was painfull and I felt weakness leaving the body. Did my routines with 60 seconds of rest instead of 90. I did not much like the change. But maybe it will do some good for a change up.

I feel a burden of books off my shoulders. Got all my studying done. I also got my first pair of glasses and amazing no headache from reading. Although the bi-focal lens took some while getting used to, about 6 hours of reading. And 2 hours for 3 exams today…Wow, I can smell the rain outside and feel like I’m free again. At least until Spring break is over! Tomorrow I’ll be at the dojo for Friday Night sparring. Yea, that sounds real good right now for some stress relief. I got to get my rythem back at 24hr fitness.

Got a descent pump on Bi’s and Tri’s. 100 push ups in 5 minutes and 45 seconds. I felt pretty weak holding the gut in and breathing. Curls went great. Got a good pump by the 3rd set. 4th set and I was smiling. I felt like I did something. Arms were quick to swell at 15.25 inches. 17 inches for long arms sounds pretty good right now for a Goal.

With the dog illness that is much better, college test, studying, and Staffing changes at work, I have missed a couple of workouts this week. I feel kind of weak today, maybe just tired? We are down 2 staff at work, Correctional Unit of 28 inmates. So the "over-time" gambit is killing my free time schedule of priorities. We should have new staff hired, 15th of this month. So until then…I may be getting a little less sleep. I have decided to get some chin-ups, push-ups, Hanging leg lifts, dips ect… while on my breaks at work. I guess I’m lucky to have a bar to hang from at work. Supplements are not being taking except for daily Animal Paks. I may get some workouts in before work while at home. For example I have 4hours before my O.T. shift today. I ate oatmeal 9am, time for me Animal Pak, maybe an hour of text reading, and then the barbell will be waiting for me. Oh,,,My wife has purchased some new paint colors for the den remodel???
