Animal Pump and Torrent post workout drink

Today was not good for trying new supps. I took the pump pills and ended up missing a workout because I had to supervise a 5 on 5 full court basketball game instead of supervising the weight room at work. So I worked out after work which was about 6 hours after taking the pump. Supposed to be 45min before workout on empty stomach. I had to Navigate around individuals that were on the machines I was using for a circuit workout on leg extensions and standing calf raises. Never has happened before…Any way I did squats last because my machine was in use for 15 minutes by 2 other wander’s. I finished feeling light headed doing squats last. Next time I’ll wait for a machine to do squats first like I normally do…The post work out drink "Torrent" has a flavor that is on the bitter side. Most new drinks requires an aquirred taste to find un-offensive. (you have to learn to like it) I look forward to a better workout on chest and back tomoz :)

I like the cable stirups for standing chest flies which resemble a Bear Hug. Do these from Hi and Low cable pully postions. Biceps, chest, and forearms were pretty sore the next 2 days. Funny that my exterior calves were sore, too… I did not log this workout in the tracker because the plates are not labeled. So I can only guess, 10lb plates the aprox size of 1"x5"x10". I did 6 sets with failure on 3 of them. Seems like my body is a little tired after not using the Animal Stak2, I still am taking the daily Pak formula. I’m getting ready to hit some weights at home and have 1.5hrs before going to work. I’ll post this workout in the TRACKER, later tonight. I feel I need to hit the weights more frequently!! 

Taekwondo Sparring and Fast Twitch Workout

Man…Sweated my ass off. Drank about 10oz of water every 15 minutes. Started at 6:20 with stretching for 15 minutes. The younger class was extended past 6:30. Actually was sparring around 6:45pm and finished at 8pm. I was fueling all day for the Dojo. I ate a Large bowl of Oatmeal with peanut butter at 10am, Animal Pak at 10:30am, Orange at noon. Went out at 2pm for Terriyaki dinner plate with Grilled boneless chicken thigh and breast. Grilled beef short ribs, deep fried pork in batter, Mixed cabbage, broccoli, carrots, onions, with half pound of white rice. Enough for 2 people really, but I like the left overs. Ate again at 4:30pm and finished off the Terriyaki. Drank protein shake at 6pm as I was leaving for the Anticipated Cardio Workout. When had a large group of visiting Blackbelts from two other Schools. So I went about 10 rounds at 3-4 minutes each. Drank water and took 3-4 minute break every 2 rounds. My goal was to stay hydrated as my uniform was soaked and the Mirrors were fogged with steam. The smell must have offended visitors, like a sauna inside. Well I came home and watched the hills have eyes and managed to stay awake till Now at 11:00pm. My appeitite is back again. 3 hours of recovery you might say?? I just weighed my self and holding @ 186#(nice!!). Last snack of the night is waiting…Peace.

Realistic Gains of 40 lbs added to Bench in 8 weeks- Animal Review

I’m happy with the Flat Bench PR of 207. The other machine last week was leveraged to falsley represent actual weight moved. Well it sure was fun lifting 272×3. And will look forward to pumping Barbells weights when I find a partner. I do like the hammer machines for Solo Workouts. The Animal Stak2 Supplement cycle of 21 days is done. I really like the workouts that I did on the program. I have lifed the most weight ever in my life. I weigh more than ever, I hit 190 at one point, and I now average now about 185-186. Well I feel great and will run another cycle of Stak2 in 6-8 weeks. Animal Pak and Protein Shake will enough to keep my gains while still hitting the gym. This is all new territory for me and I’m loving the new gains!! I PLAN on continued progress without the stak2. Natural progress and occassional Staks is OK with me.

Fat Calipers

I bought the MyoTape and Skin Calipers at the end of last year with my Animal Supplements. I was hitting the protein shakes a little to often on rest days. I was bumping 188-190lbs. And started feeling the waist band in my pants getting a tighter. So I cut back on Protein shakes to only on work out days. One before and one after workout. The caliper reading was at 23mm(38"waist) on Dec.27,2007. Then dropped to 18 on 1-7-08. Today I’m at 12mm(36"waist) after 3 weeks of eating smarter. Bulking is cool but feeling fat is not! I’m hitting the morning weight in the birthday suit at 184-185. I’m happy with the "Control" of skin thickness. OK…I’m very, very, Happy!!

I Feel the Animal in me!! No Brag, just amazing.

I had a short but intense workout today. I whim the idea to hit the traps on a Universal Machine with the Bench Press Stack of weights. The energy was amazing that I was breaking a sweat on shrugs. I did 17 sets including warm ups. I have to wonder how much is inspired from residual Animal Supplements in my system for my 10 day cycle thus far? I was last hitting the traps with db (free weights) Hi Rep’s (25-30×6)with 60 pounds on 12-24-07. Today my wrist and forearms were weaker than the Traps. So this is were the hands meet the street for dirty duty of grasping the bar. Wrist Curls may be next to add to my program.

New Work Schedule

Friday, January 4th, 2008

Work Schedule: 8a-4p, 8a-4p, 2p-10p, 2p-10p, 12p-8p, then 2 days off. I’m thinking about a 6am morning workout so I can hit the weights with a regular time. Or…do evening workouts with rest days on swing shift? I’ll need to think about this commitment…
