Stepped on the scale today. Before I even explain my weight, I’d like to point out that I follow the mirror more so than the scale. I feel what you see holds the truth rather than a number on a machine. But, just to make note of my progress, I decided to weigh myself today. The first time i’ve done so since I started H.I.T. training and an increase in caloric intake. When I started out nearly 3 weeks ago, after I took part in my first ever photoshoot, I weighed in at 179lbs and was at 4-5% bodyfat. Now, 3 weeks later, i’m at 185.2lbs and at 6% or so bodyfat. Still maintaining my vascularity as well as my cuts, but obviously not as deep as post-photoshoot. This is a sure-fire sign that i’m well on my way to slapping on positive weight in muscle mass. Of course it can’t always be 100% lean, but you have to risk a bit of your conditioning to progress towards a bigger, stronger and more complete physique. During the 3rd week of June, I will make sure to take progress pics and post them at my leisure. Feel free to critique and offer SOUND advice towards my development. I appreciate all the support and the recognition you guys have been sending my way. I hope to maintain such a rewarding relationship with all of you. Keep your heads up and hit it hard. I’ll be sure to update all of you as the days and weeks go on.

Noticing that my strength is starting to go up. Nothing major, but definitely evident. It is always the first 2 weeks where the complexity of "bulking" comes into play, and you start to become fearful of losing the detail and definition you once had. Its a sacrifice that must be made to improve on something worth improving. After I get past this week, i’m sure my focus will be purely on the goal of putting on a bit more size before contest prep in late July. I’ve currently gone up almost 2lbs, so I know its not sloppy weight. Still have clear definition and detail, and my fullness is beginning to make itself known. Can’t wait to see what the upcoming weeks will bring. Current weight: 183 lbs, bodyfat: 6-7%

Started up at a new gym here in New York. Its called New York Barbell Club. Real gritty; for those who are motivated by semi-dark lighting, music that can make your ears bleed and the ora of "hard work" cushioning your every step. I’m currently following a H.I.T training regimen, designed by myself yet following similar guidelines to the likes of Dorian Yates and Mike Mentzer. So far so good. My strength has gone up and I noticed i’ve been starting to fill out, density wise. I can evidently notice growth already starting to take place and pretty soon i’ll snap a few shots to update you guys. I can tell these 2 months ahead of me are going to be brutal but blood, sweat and tears never come easy. Extremely focused on the task at hand, so when I start contest prep in July for my show in October, i’ll make it known that I mean business. Have to shock the world somehow, right?
