figure competitions

Thursday, March 20th, 2008

Alright people.. here’s the dilemma.  I want to take fitness to the next level and possibly do figure competitions… But I am afraid I cannot do this on my own and will need a trainer.  For those of you who have done figure, about how much does it cost for a trainer..how many times do you meet with them a week..and are there any competitions coming up?  I am from Pittsburgh.. I have been searching for a trainer but am having little luck.. it seems like there are only online trainers anymore and i’m not interested.  I am a broke college kid, so maybe getting a trainer at this time isn’t right.  But maybe one of you have some advice to get me on my way ! :) thanks

Gain muscle/loose bodyfat?

I want to gain more muscle, but at the same time, i want to loose my bodyfat.  What is the best way to achieve both?  Or do I have to do one at a time?

Bodybuilding quotesss

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

I wrote an informative speech on BODYBUILDING for my public speaking class:)

I want to end it with a bang, anyone know of any good quotes to put in my conclusion paragraph?  I looked on google, didn’t see too many inspiring ones!

Thanks :)

Bummmm helppppp

So my new bathing suits just came in from Victoria Secret.  Happy? No.  The bottoms are a freaking small and they are practically falling off.  I can’t seem to get my butt big.  I am 116 lbs and it all is apparently in my stomach and legs, but no butt.  Should I cut the cardio down?  Should I add an extra day for legs?  Suggestttiooonsssss :(

my diet is meal 1: 2 peices of wheat toast and 4 egg whites; meal 2 protein shake; meal 3 6 oz chicken 4 oz broc. and 2 oz yams; meal 4 protein shake; meal 5 is same is meal 3 and meal six is protein shake.  I do an hour of cardio everyday but one, and I lift legs once a week; back/bi’s twice, shoulders twice, and chest/tri once.  For my leg exercises, i’m really up for whatever depending on how i feel.  I usually do quads and hamstring work, but always feel so tired due to all my cardio!

Welcome!
