support where it’s needed.. :D
well, like i said in my last blog, almost everyone around me here at work thinks it’s disgusting what i’m doing, working out.. lol doesn’t make sense, but anyways!!
I DID talk with my superintendent today, he actually came in after his duty hours to let me know he doesn’t seen an issue with me going on leave for about two weeks in october for the show in san diego!! (randi i didn’t tell him about our little extra days on the beach haha) shockingly enough, HE WAS ALL ABOUT IT! he told me forget these people, they are jealous and eventually, they will see all my positive energy and want to join!.. i was so happy. he event went as far to look up some information for air forceĀ figure competitions and show me one of the girls he knew that was just like me!!!.. i was so happy to have the higher man on my side! alright, just happy and sitting at work for about two moreĀ hours then going to do some cardo, then legs this afternoon!!

I was in the AF and there were normally two types of people. Ones that workout and ones that don’t. The ones that don’t normally aren’t successful, have a lack of personal integrity, and generally exhibit signs of jealousy (what you’re seeing). They aren’t like you, don’t have the determination or drive to be like you, and they hate you for it.
As for your Superintendant, sounds like a person you need on your side. Congrats on the leave! Enjoy it and gl in the comp.

Brittany I’m glad to hear that someone on your chain of command sees and supports your fitness goals. I know I always support my people when it comes to PT. Unfortunately even though this program has been around for years now we still have some crusties at the top that are still living in the 90’s. You just keep doing what you’re doing and I promise your energy and passion will become infectious and people around you will start to follow suit!

Sorry to hear you’re not getting the support you deserve! Just let your true self shine and people will soon be inspired by your positivity. I am facing the same thing from my family and my fiancee, which has been difficult But I know they all do a 180 when you and I grace the stage and they see us in all of our healthy feminine glory!!! =) Keep it up!

I’m glad you talked to him and he was so supportive! You are awesome…..focus on all of us who love and support you! The rest of them are just jealous that you have dedication that they don’t.

The funny thing is after all these reports at how dangerously obese our country is that people don’t want to take better care of themselves and they want to hate on people whu do. Well one day when they are on all kinds of meds for diseases and ailments they can’t seem to get rid of and you are still happy and healthy then see what they have to say about it. The shame of it all is that these are military personnel who should be the picture of health.
