no support from the workplace.. : (
I’m sick and tired of everyone at work telling me, i’m taking this too far. i need to be a girl, and they like their girls "soft" .. do i care?! no, i have an amazing boyfriend who thinks its incredible what i’m doing. i have a trainer who helps make me better every single day.. and most of all, this is what I WANT!.. i DO want to be extremely muscular, i will take whatever i can get!.. I DO love girls like melissa dettwiller and marika johansson.. they show more dedication to their physiques then sitting around telling young girls like me it’s not worth it and dudes won’t like me or want to touch me if i get harder than them(haha, sorry). guys/girls here tell me veins are gross and they think its weird that i drink so much water and take supps at work.. well bite me.
sorry, i’m so angry and i have to spend 12 hours with these people every time i work : X

They are just HATERRSS… and wish they were as HARD as you are , I wish I was.

They will get used to it. Until then, dont let them or anything else stand in the way of your goals! You never know, maybe one of them will actually show interest sooner or later!
BTW, I think girls "like you" are HOT!

hey.. just follow your heart. you’re walking a higher path that most people will never understand. you don’t have to lower your standard of health and good physique just to appease them. good luck with your goals, u look great, and i’m sure you’ll continue to look strong and beautiful.

just tell them to pound sand. While you remain healthy and happy, they’ll start seeing health problems from their inactive lifestyle. They’re jealous of your dedication and work ethic. Don’t let them drag you down! Keep up the great work and take out the frustration on the weights

will how cears what thay say persona i like girls with hard bodys
January 14, 2009 at 11:24 pm
take control of your body and bring it to a level that even you never thought was possible and then push harder. Veins, muscles, and a rock hard body is a beautiful thing and others are jealous of it.

omg! i completly agree. everybody tell me the same thing at work too. its so annoying. i just started to lie to them and tell them im not trying to get strong . i stopped telling them im going to lose weight because i get a response of "you’ll look like a pole". when im eating a salad with no dressing. everybody talks about it like it’s abnormal. i now tell them that i ate a burger and icecream the night before andim trying to compensate. i know lieing isnt a good idea but it is hell of alot easier to handle the situation. i completly understand your need to vent!

You’re right by doing this for yourself, and not for others. Society frowns upon women with muscularity. Forget what they say, stop talking to them about it because it only feeds the fire. Just stay focused on what you need to do. You are determined, and use that in the gym to get those gains.

Check my blog Brittany, I encountered the something similar but from my family (check out my blog) I think its more jelously from everyone not wanting you to be better than them.
Nothing sexier thn a toned ripped girl

as long as you do it for you, who gives a damn what they think. They’re just afraid you’ll be able to kick their ass! Go you. Don’t let the "man" keep you down.
January 14, 2009 at 11:41 pm
Let these people serve as your motivation. Think about them every time you walk in the door of the gym. Turn the negative criticism into positive motivation.
January 14, 2009 at 11:44 pm
They are probably just jealous. Do what makes YOU happy. You look great keep it up.
January 14, 2009 at 11:45 pm
you’re all so awesome, thank you thank you! no worries, i’m not going to stop : )

Those are the people that doesn’t understand what you want to achieve. They’re focused on what they see as "the average guy/girl". But hey, we all know that it’s just noise along the way we’re going…
It’s not so important what everybody else thinks about your body. You have to feel comfortable in your body, not them looking at you.

They’re just scared that the more fit you get the more likely you can kick their asses, thus the put downs. I think muscles are far more sexy than flabby bellys, arms, legs and asses.
January 15, 2009 at 8:15 pm
I had a friend that I hadn’t seen in a while say, "you are too big, don’t put any more weight on it’s not attractive..girls don’t like that."
Nothing positive to say about something I have put alot of work into…. I came back with a.. what kind of people and situations do you want to attract, fit girls?..healthy people, all around fitness?…or the opposite. Now he understands lol.
