I have a TON of motivation, but my energy is seriously lacking here. I average 4 hours of sleep a night underway. Sometimes less. And yet I want to go and push myself and see results and have the reason I don’t is because I can’t get enough sleep to rejuvenate my body properly. In fact, as I sit and write this I am falling asleep. I don’t know what to do any more.

As it is Nov. 3rd over here in… actually I don’t know where we are.
I am running daily and am continuing with Steve’s weight training plan. Sometimes it’s hard because I don’t have all the equipment that I’d like to have but I am able to modify or sub in different exercises that work the same muscles.
On a personal note, I am re-enlisting in the Navy soon and will be getting orders to the states. Which means access to better gyms.
I’m no longer going home this New Year’s as I can’t afford it finacially. But that ok, it’s 10 months until I transfer so I can wait until then. I hope to post new pics. soon. Miss Ya’ll.

So I’m going to be traveling to Florida for New Year’s to be with my boyfriend. By then it’ll be almost 3 years since I’ve seen him. I want to look my best, not because he won’t like how I look now. He loves me and loves that I have "meat on my bones." But I want to be my best for this as I want to start running with him when I get there. So here’s my goals to complete by Dec.
1. Lose 25 lbs of fat
2. Gain 10lbs of muscle
3. Be able to do 10 pullups, wide grip.
4. shave 3" off my thighs and 6" off my hips
5. Bench 40 lbs dumbbells 3x 12.
I think that’s good for now. I don’t want to be a cardio junkie and lose it all that way, but I love the way the treadmill cut my calves so I’ll continue to do my cardio program. I’ll be taking photos weekly, along with measurements, esp. as I can’t weigh myself if I’m underway. I can’t wait to see him and be able to hold him. But mostly I can’t wait to show him me without the layers.

So even though I’m underway I started P90x 2 days ago and am loving the energy. I’m doing the lean version first and after the first 90 days I’ll probably do the classic and after that the doubles.:) I lost 8 lbs. with Jillian Michaels workouts in just 3 weeks, but sometimes it’s just easier to pop in the DVD and workout in one of my spaces. So that’s what I’ve been doing. I’ve been getting better at the yoga sets as well.

the Jillian Michael’s site is also getting my attention now. I have been using her workouts along with P90x and have already lost 4 lbs. I am completely stoked and am loving the intense workouts offered by both programs. I should be posting new pics. soon.

So I haven’t started the P90x as I’ve been underway and still am. But, I have read the book Mastering Your Matabolism by Jillian Michaels. It’s awesome and I understand how things work together in my body so much better now. I have been having a hard time keeping it together as I just don’t like having to think about everything, but I have cut down my soda consupmtion. I now drink one a week. I have been drinking tea constantly and it’s helped with the caffine cravings. I have a PRT coming up and I don’t know if I’m ready. But I’m going to find the strength and work on it. I just haven’t had any motivation. And I hate that. I don’t know what to do to get my motivation back, but I want it and I want it bad.

I just recieved my P90x and was reading through the minimum requirements. It’s easy! At least to meet the requirements to use the program. lol.
The only thing I have trouble with is the pull up. Can’t do it just yet. But I will be able to. The plan is easy to understand and do and the nutrition program is perfect, even with me eating at the galley. The best part in my mind is the fact that if I can’t get to a dvd player (ie underway) I can still do the workout using the book as a guide to the exercises. I can’t wait to start the program and start posting pics. and weight drops and lifting gains.

I swear the only thing holding me back is cardio. I don’t like running and the stationary stuff is so freaking boring. But I love dance and I done that my whole life. So I’m going to try something, I’m going to try a workout video system called Core Rhythm. On top of this I will also bew doing some Jillian Michaels videos and working out in the gym. I will do this and I will stick to it.

Why am I not working out when I know that I need to? I have I been taking the easy way out? Why do I continue to eat unhealthily? I think I need to pay for a personal trainer session or 2 when I get back to Japan. But I also need to budget my money better and pay off my bills and eat. I need help, but I don’t have the money to pay someone to help me. I know what to do, but I don’t know how to stick to it. And now, I’m feeling very fat and ugly and even though my boyfriend says he likes the way I look I want to be in better shape. Any ideas where to start?
