So I decided to switch up the workout routine today. Instead of doing the normal back and chest, I decided to do back and biceps today and chest and tris tommorow. Only reason I’m switching it up is because I’ve been on the same routine for 6 months and I think it’s time to break it up differently. It sucks though because when I do back and chest I alternate between the two muscle groups thorughout the workout and sustain a lot of strength and get a great pump. Is there anyone else out there that knows what I’m talking about!!!????

    I know what you are talking about, though I doubt I experience the extreme degree of pump that I’m sure you do, but as you say it does help sometimes to really change things around. And at least this way you’ll be pre-exhausting your tris with the chest workout so you can really push to failure with them later in the workout, right?

    chest and tris are a great combination just be sure to hit chest first that way you will be able to make your big lifts i always found it better that way

    I just saw your blog and yes I know my reply is a little late, SORRY.
    When I was in my 20s I tried tons of things and I was into supersetting because I was in better shape and yes… I enjoyed flip flopping Back/Chest, Shoulders/Abs, Biceps/Triceps, Quads/Hams, Calves/forearms and thank you for reminding me of my former bad self…LOL. Actually I just wanted to say how good your pics look. While I enjoy the tricep shot it was one of your progress pics, the one of your back in a muscle shirt. Nice V but I also dug the muscle cuts in the back. I noticed that you have maintained a low body fat for a long time. I thought, YA now thats how I want to look! I check out profiles for motivation and inspiration and I wanted to say thanks. I was motivated until I saw how low your body fat was (4%?) and I thought I will never obtain that! and then I thought…he does! so how do you do you do it? I look at the ripped guys all the time and never find info about what they are doing. JOKINGLY…Do you play B Ball all day?Tennis? eat adkins? just starve? do you do your own lipo suction? LOL..What do "you" think your secret is? an old fat guy, Darrell
