so, with my trainer today i did 336lbs on leg press for 10 reps…that’s the most i have done. i also did 3 sets of 20 lunges with 40 lbs in each hand and sumo squats with 90lbs for 3 sets of 15. plus, one leg squats, leg curls, and calves/abs. yea, i almost vomitted! i lost 4 lbs in the last week because of getting my wisdom teeth out, so that sucks, cause i really didn’t want to start losing until sunday, but oh well. BTW, i have disabled my private messages, but you can still leave a comment on my page or on my blogs!

so i am about 5 days away from starting my diet. i had my wisdom teeth out friday, so i have been feelin a bit puny for the last few days. back to the gym today to do some heavy shoulders with my trainer. i am extremely excited to start prepping and feel like i have most things in order so far. i wil update my stats today…wt and measurements…so i will have a starting point. i really do not want to weigh myself too often, because it is not about your weight, it is about how you look and feel. so maybe i will update it every two weeks. gotta get my suit lined up, i am getting a new two piece, gotta send in my entry form and get my hotel room, hopefully within the week! gonna start changing up my supplements a bit… i am off creatine and will start taking more BCAAs, glutamine, CLA, carnitine, green tea extract, fish oil, and a few more. more cardio, more protein, a little less carb, and hopefully keeping the weight training intensity high. check back in about a week, i may post pics, we’ll see!

15 wks out, i started doing a little bit of cardio this past week, 20-30 minutes here and there. i really don’t want to start cardioin’ it up until 12 weeks out, but trying to tighten up a little and prepare my body to push it hard in 3 wks. i got an hr and 1/2 massage this past thursday, and it was NOT long enough. i have so many issues, my body is tight all over, but especially in my left glute and hamstring and my right quad. hopefully i can get back on the table in a week or two. training is going well, especially on the days i work with my trainer. i am really hoping that when i start my cardio, i can incorporate many different things…swimming, boxing, hiking, stadium running and sprints. i really don’t like doing long, steady paced cardio, it is boring, plus i think it really flattens me out! i really hope to keep my muscle big, full, and round this competition season. ok, enough for now, gotta get ready for the superbowl! Go Pats!
