Great in 2008?
wow, been a while since i have blogged. been pretty busy with work, training, and everything else that comes up! 2008 is starting off OK. i have been sick for the last week (i never get sick, so it really sucks!) had to get on antibiotics, so my training slowed down a little bit. this, however, is the time i need to be pushing it the hardest. i have about 7 more weeks of bulking before i have to start dieting for the Jr. USAs on may 17th. i have had a pretty productive off-season, you always look back on it (or at least i do) and say you could have worked just a little bit harder, but can’t do anything about it now. now, i just need to look ahead and plan my season, stay fit, healthy, and have a positive attitude. i feel like my shoulders have definitely improved, bigger and rounder. i really wanted to improve my hamstrings as well, but have been having some serious lower back problems for the last 2-3 months, so i haven’t been able to lift heavy on my legs and do squats and dead-lifts how i’d like. again, can’t really do anything about it, so i just must modify my workouts! i am actually looking forward to start dieting…being on a schedule really keeps me motivated and helps me accomplish other things in my life. i feel like 2008 will be pretty great…i hope to do 4 shows (unless i get my pro card early on!), hope to do a lot more modeling, hope to get some sponsors, and hope to go to the olympia (as a spectator, of course!) so we’ll see!!!
