Yes, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords WILL return, though no one knows the hour ….but the signs are all around us! It will be in the twinkling of the eye, and for those unprepared, He shall come as a thief in the night. DO NOT be unprepared…this place will be absolutely HORRIBLE to those who remain after he has come to take His children up! If you haven’t been baptized, then please repent and be baptized in His Holy name! Jesus loves you IMMENSELY, in a way that no one can truly comprehend.

I talk a lot about what the Lord Jesus Christ has done for me in my life, today I’ve been thinking about what He has done for others….even when they don’t even know it!!! There’s brother Marc, who was cured from MS; a condition that baffled the doctors, but was simple for the miraculous healing power of Almighty God…now he is actually starting to train with weights, which by medical knowledge should be impossible! Or Amysuds, whom He pulled out of a horrible childhood, gave her the strength and courage to break free of alcohol abuse and become a fitness phenom; to place her where she is loved; blessed with prosperity, a supportive husband and multiple children(and a grandchild, sometimes I forget that beautiful young lady is a grandma!) These are both such wonderful testimonies! But what is the GREATEST thing that God has done for you and me???
Isaiah 43:11 I, even I. am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour
John1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God
John1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,(and we behold his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father)
So great was God’s love and mercy, that He became flesh and lived as a man. As Yeshua(which in English means saviour, and is translated as Jesus) he felt the burning of the sun, the chill of the night, the pangs of hunger and the pains of being struck. Though he was El Shaddai, Jehova, the great I AM reigning in Heaven, He was here on Earth, teaching of His ways that lead to true life….and to do the greatest thing ever….to be the sacrifice so that His blood could redeem us of our sins, so that we may be saved. Keep in mind what God has done for you, it can be so easy to forget when we get caught up in the stresses of life. And if you haven’t repented and been baptized in Jesus’ name, PLEASE do so! It will be the greatest thing that YOU have ever done, and God will be very happy:)

Some have made this WAYYY more complicated than neccesary…but God’s plan of salvation is really quite simple
A) Repent of your sins(repent means to turn away from)
B)Be baptized(fully immersed in water) in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of those sins, and to receive the Holy Spirit
C)Obey and live by all God’s commandments, mainly the Great commandment
The Lord your God is ONE God, and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might……and
Love thy neighbor as you would thyself

Well, the week started out promising. Had a good workout, was gonna sell my old Gibson Explorer guitar to a buddy; and he even got me a job interview that same day(since I DESPERATELY need $$$ quick) The interview went very, very well, and the week seemed pretty good….but days passed and I never got a call back for the job, never heard from my "buddy", running out of food and cleaning supplies, no money; stress levels are high around the house….I don’t even know how I’m gonna keep training. Still need to get my driver’s liscence & social security card(someone stole my wallet a while back) PLUS, I have to be in court on the 24th. YEA!!! My only crime was being on the wrong ladies property to politely ask for water.
So it’s all falling apart, what do I do???
Praise God of course…..Praise the most high Yeshua for he is a wonderful, merciful God, and all his works are works of righteousness.
Our volunteer Tessi is trapped in the Phillipines w/ barely any money and little food, baby Angel Mae is dying; her bitter cries non-stop from the pain she endures from having her intestine outside her body. Our church barely scrapes by, we have to stuff 20 kids into a 8X12 room for bible school, and one of our prechers, Ted, is in the hospital w/ complications from diabetes.
What to do? Praise the Lord, for he is a wonderful God, and all his works are works of righteousness. I lift up praises to him, for he is worthy of glory, honor and praise. It dosen’t make sense to me right now, but that is what I shall do…Thank you Yeshua HaMaseach, almighty God; for you have blessed me greatly, you have blessed sister Tessi, brother Ted; and all our church; though I honestly cannot see it right now.

I’ve decided to write a blog for those wanting to cut fat or build muscle, giving simplified, practical information. I hope this benefits someone.
The five points of fat loss-
1)Eat less carbs: Your body initially uses carbs as fuel for energy, the fat in your body is reserve fuel. Cutting down carb intake forces the body to burn fat. You still need carbs for energy when training so you can train hard, but otherwise intake should be minimal, because carbs you don’t use convert to fat
2)Build muscle: The more lean muscle you have, the more efficiently you burn fat; and nothing builds muscle like weight lifting, which also burns calories very well.
3)Minimal rest between sets: One minute rest between weight lifting sets, as opposed to two or longer, causes the body to burn more fuel for energy
4)Intense cardio after weights: Intense cardio means thirty second to one minute bursts of activity at 90-100% capacity, with 30 seconds rest between. Fifteen to twenty minutes of this type of cardio burns fat more efficiently than thirty or more minutes of moderate paced activity, which is better for maintaining weight rather than cutting.
5)Eat healthy: Avoid sugary foods and starches, which convert to fat, defeating the whole purpose of the first four points. Get enough protein to support weight training, but get it from lean sources(chicken, tuna, turkey, ect.)
Five points of building muscle-
1)Increase protein intake: Protein is what builds and maintains muscle, take in 3/4 to 1 gram per lb of body weight each training day
2)Get enough carbs to energize training: If you have no energy, you can’t train as hard. Getting carbs are especially important if you’re already lean. good carbs are oatmeal, wheat foods, rice, fruits and vegetables, ect.
3)Push yourself!: As far as gaining strength and building, lifting with a weight heavy enough that you can do no more than 6-12 reps is best. 15 reps or more is better for toning existing muscle. And pushing harder than you did the last session gives your muscles a reason to grow. No one said it would be easy!!!
4)Train different body parts on different days/you need rest: your muscles need recovery time to repair and grow, by training a body part one day a week it gives it that chance. Plus you can work each body part harder that way. Get some sleep at night too, at least six hours of sleep but seven or eight are better. And rest at least one day of the week, where you don’t train at all.
5) Fourty seven minute weight training/ Testosterone: After fourty seven minutes of weight training, your testosterone levels drop dramatically, minimizing any work you do after that point. The hormone testosterone is very important to building muscle.
There is much more info of course, but these are the basics. God bless:)

Today was leg day; heavy squats and deadlifts all the way!!! 10 reps every sets, squats starting at 265, adding 10lbs each time, finishing w/ 315..deadlifts the same, first set 175,the last 225…I must have been out of my cotton pickin’ mind! I learned that the workout is not finished after the first 6 sets, lol.
I felt dissapointed, the first two squat sets were 10 reps, then 8,6,5 and 4 at 315. I could have knocked out 10 for all of them, but I realized that if I had went with my plan; I would have a lot less left for those deadlifts. At the end, I could not complain, my legs still got the brutal workout I wanted. But 10reps for all the sets would have been nice;) I finished off with 10 at 695 on leg press just to be sure though…plus I got a chance to talk to two GORGEOUS Mejicanas named Berra and Osiris who were ripping through leg press sets at 425(a very good way to get my attention!) They were generally turning the gym into a war zone with their hard and determined work. Thank you Lord Jesus that I can speak pretty good Spanish!!!(They spoke very little English)

I really need to get to bed, but I am excited about my new training plan…I’ve been sore all week and I LOVE it!!! Tomorrow is the last of the three days(chest, delts&triceps); and I can’t wait.
I really think a month of this will put over the top into being able to get some truly insane lifts!

I decided to cut my bodyspace time considerably..basically just to update my wo tracker and body stats(and lifting stats if it’s a REALLY good day) , check up on a few friends, and encourage those who actually need it.
I’m not in a great mood right now; one of the volunteers for H.U.G.S, Tessi, is stuck in General Santos City on the island of Mindanao in the Phillipines. Civil war has just broke out there, the body count is rising as muslim insurgents and the Phillipine army go toe to toe…she was supposed to come back this week and now she is stuck there for however long, who knows? On top of that, little Angel Mae is hanging on by a thread, she is battling constant infections from her exposed intestine and the amount of red tape keeping her from getting her surgery and coming to America is miles long..
I’m trying not to think about how 90% of our funding comes from one couple, and the other 10% from us at the church. I’m trying not to think of how Trinity Baptist and the other local super churches constantly preach prosperity sermons, yet there is never any talk of "feed the sheep". These people actually HAVE money. Or the Jehova’s Witness, who pull in a billion annually but do exactly JACK SQUAT to help crippled children or other needy people!!! Those people in sitting in those cushy seats at arena sized churches don’t need to hear "Jesus wants you to have a better car, a bigger house," they need to hear,"IF YOU’RE GONNA CALL HIM LORD YOU BETTER START DOING HIS WORK, OR HE WILL SAY TO YOU ,"I NEVER KNEW YE"!!!" But the preachers won’t, because if you tell the hard, un-watered down truth there WILL be empty seats. There goes the donations, then they can’t live in a mansion anymore, well boo hoo. Those men should be ASHAMED. When we at H.U.G.S get donations, it’s always from the lower middle class or even poor people..why am I not suprised!? Those that have little give(God bless them), those that already have just take more and keep it all for themselves. I will say 80% of people who claim to be Christian absolutely are NOT!!!
All in all, I’m just SO frustrated because I cannot do more right now to help. :( I want to do more than just pray and give chump change….
