I really have been into cardio the last three years but its only been enjoyable the last year when I started cycling. I can go out for an hour and burn 1000 calories while clearing my head of worries and enjoying the quiet sound of my bike or listening to my Ipod, time flys compared to doing gym cardio where time seems to dilate. There is a certain freedom to being out on the road, I really think its good for my head space. Of course, having good weather helps considerably. Good luck, I need to get back to more serious training myself.. you have me inspired!

Funny isn't it? I wasn't able to do squats for years either...I tore my ACL about twelve years ago, and for whatever reason just really felt the pain during squats. Subsequently, I resorted to leg extensions and intermittent leg presses. Frustrated by my lack of lower region progress, I just decided to start doing the ATF and Roman squats again about two months ago. And surprise, surprise: my knees do not hurt and as a matter of fact, they feel better than they have in years. As suspected, my legs are already feeling bigger too. I love me some squats! Good luck with yours...
