A Word On Blatant Advertising
Just a friendly reminder to all: BodySpace is not an advertising outlet. We’ve been getting lots of complaints recently about people spamming via PM for personal training services, recruitment for other fitness networking sites, and websites selling clothing apparel and/or supplements.
As per rule #8 in the forum/BodySpace rules, these type of advertising activities are not appropriate.
If you happen to own a company that sells stuff, you are, of course, most welcome to use our site. A single link to your website on your BodySpace profile would be appropriate. However, PM’ing your link out in your signature file would not be appropriate, nor spamming your link in profile comments, or actively recruiting customers via our site.
Likewise, if we see too many of the same t-shirt logos on the BodySpace main page, we will start removing those photos, since it sends the wrong message about who we are and what we’re trying to do. Thank you all for your respect of this rule.

Nike shirts? Champion shirts? UnderArmour?… just wondering if those shirts would be removed also.. haven’t got an answer on this yet.
… btw, there is absolutely no biz relationship with anyone , anywhere on your site. Maybe BodySpace should sell my shirt.. you’d proabbly do well with it.
anyway..sour grapes.. I like your site.. and I want to be ‘within the rule’..
but it is a SLIPPERY slope you r on unless it is applied evenly across the entire database of users… not because you had to react to pressure from a group that thought a conspiracy was underway.
it’s funny.. the more trash talk that goes on the more visits I get.. weird how that works

Thanks for taking a stand. What you say makes (common ) sense. Sticking to a standard makes the whole site more enjoyable. (and anyway, its your deal!)

Sour grapes because I noticed many of the girls pics removed that were not blatant advertising..just girls(and actually dome guys) wearing a shirt. I did not think that was correct. What’s your address..I’ll send you a really COOL shirt! Lol

LOL - I’ve also removed shirts and logos from other online retailers on here before, and we’re trying to be fair across the board on this. Thanks for your understanding.
