Update On “Lingering Issues”
Well, the past week has been a whirlwind of patching, bug fixing, and putting out fires, let me tell you. Our I.T. guys are working hard to get everything 100% completely restored after last Friday’s hardware failure.
These issues have been fixed:
Blank avatar problem
Forums offline
PhotoPost (photo gallery) offline
PhotoPost thumbnails showing but main image "not in database"
BodySpace running incredibly slowly
And these ones are still not fixed at this point:
Occupation, personal website, PM/IM details, age missing (from profiles)
BodyBlog post counts incorrect for some users (but not all)
Mismatched avatars (forum has outdated avatar)
Forum signatures not showing for some users
Toggling forum avatar is unresponsive (setting)
View statistics & moderate comments pages fail for ultra-popular users
BodyBlog "you can only post every 15 seconds, slow down cowboy" error
BodySpace visitor stats/friends lists/comment counts might be outdated
YouTube video thumbnails have outdated links (for some users)
Forum reps and forum searches are outdated
Forum last activity and recent posts are outdated
Changed username doesn’t reflect in PhotoPost gallery
BodyBlog posts 6-minute delay off main page
Some activated users seeing "Not Activated" error message upon login
These will most likely take a few more days to get fixed, so please hang tight until late next week. Thanks, and sorry for the delay on getting these fixed - it’s actually quite complicated on the backend, so in fixing one set of problems, we created more, but we had to choose the lesser of two evils so that most of the major functions of BodySpace were back online more quickly.

Not sure if "Occupation, personal website, birthdate/age missing (from profiles)" counts, but I added AIM messenger contact details and that has yet to show up on the forums(small icon has not appeared)
Other than that, good job Richard man(no tranny porn)

Another problem is that when I go to view/edit my ‘friends’ list, it doesn’t show them all. I know I have friends whose bodyspace names begin with "w", but it list stops earlier in the alphabet.

If I search for my posts (by searching by username) the forum reports an invalid username. If I search by my OLD username (it was recently changed for me) then I find my postings.

When I go to my bodyspace and click "view all threads" it is missing several of my most recent threads I have created.

the search feature; specifically "search posts"
being broken (out of date) is especially annoying as this is the only way to "chat" with people who have replied to a post!
it makes the entire forum a one way experience!

Hi, I know you guys are "still working on it" regarding the existing issues, and you’ve done a good job thus far, I was just wondering when we might get some more of these issues (i.e. mismatched avs) resolved?

i can’t see my image in avatar i followed body space instructions and did the upload based on the specified instructions.

I changed my profile picture in bodyspace, but my forum avatar still shows my old picture. Bodyspace shows my new picture, and I even deleted my old picture from bodyspace. Please help.

My height won’t save in my BodyStats.
I go and edit and save them; as soon as I do it disappears again.

Lingering Ban. I was a bad boy and was banned for 2 month, but the ban was supposed to come off 8/28. Sorry, I know I PM’ed about this twice, but this looked like the "right" place to put it. I call it a 1/2 ban, because I’m only prohibited from leaving or replying to comments, and from updating my profile. Other then that I can still PM and post.

When I am in my Bodyspace and want to click on My Control Panel a page saying ‘YOU ARE BANNED’ shows up which is a given because everything was dated back to November, so we can’t view anything in our User CP in Bodyspace (I am not speaking about the User CP rep chart). This may be specific to only a certain number of people but is still a problem nevertheless.

i cant leave upload an avatar…even though its in correct format…..it keeps telling me it only supports ext. .png .jpeg .gif etc etc……even though its a .png…..
