The Lifting Stats were not displaying the most recent value on the member’s BodySpace if they had multiple entries.  For example, if a member entered two values for Bench Press, the oldest value was displayed on the member’s BodySpace when it should have been the most recent value.

This has been fixed by Skippy.  Credit goes to boyscouT for discovering this bug.

The Skipster added both “Top Comments Left and “Top Comments Received lists to the BodySpace home page:

Now you can see which members are leaving the most comments, and which members are receiving the most comments.     =)

A bizarre and seemingly random issue has cropped up where sometimes the font color in the BodyBlog header won’t display properly in some browsers under certain as-yet-unknown conditions.  We’re looking into this minor annoyance.  This blog, for instance, might appear like this:

Skippy has added a user choice into the Profile Pictures module, where you can choose to show or hide your avatar in the Forum.  Check it:

As many know, there are two ways to upload your Profile Picture:

1. Click the “Browse button and select the image off your PC.
2. Enter the URL to the image.

There was a bug such that if you chose method number 2 you would not get an avatar in the forum.  Skippy has fixed it, however.

A potential post date issue has been discovered by Richard, and a fix was researched by Mike and is available.  Normally, the post date is based upon the server time (Pacific Time Zone).  (This is only happening, however, to a few people.)

A minor bug that only manifested itself inside of the "latest bodyblog entry" section of a user’s profile (dealing with open tags) was discovered by Richard, and fixed by Scott S.  This potentially may have temporarily broke some user’s profiles, but the issue has already been resolved.

Skippy added a new feature this morning called "comment quick reply".  On your list of comments on your main BodySpace page, there is a link [reply] that takes you directly to the comment section of the member who left the comment.  After you leave a comment, you will be redirected back to your BodySpace page.  Nice, huh?  =)

Yesterday, Skippy implemented avatars for the forum.  When a member uploads their BodySpace main profile picture, an avatar is created for the forum.  The avatar is a max 80×80 pixels.  Before yesterday only Forum Moderators had avatars, now all members do…   =)

A fix was implemented today dealing with automatic resizing of images in individual posts.  (Yes, images are allowed in posts.)  If an image is wider than the maximum of 395 pixels wide, it’ll automatically be scaled down to fit.   Blog away, fearless blogger!   =)   Kudos to Michael on this one.

A security fix was implemented today to do with CSS positioning.  Sorry, all you BodySpace hackers!   =)  Kudos to Richard for this one.

The BodySpace server was down for about 3 minutes this afternoon so it could get more RAM installed.  It’s running much faster now!   =)   Kudos to Ryan on this one!

1)  In the Comments section of the ProfileCP the Profile Picture (thumbnail) of the member leaving the comment is displayed in the list.

2)  On the main page in the Forum Activity module, the Recent Threads are displayed in order of most recent activity rather than when the thread was created.

3) The Favorites module is ready to go!!

A minor counting issue has been identified by a member of BB.com’s crack team of internal testers in which the number of post comments may not always be correct.  For example, you might not have *any* comments, but in your blog admin "manage" area it might say there is one.  This is being looked into.  We appreciate your patience on this issue - thanks!

Wow, they weren’t kidding when they said "shortly" (see previous post.)  The minor formatting conflict between our external CSS stylesheet and default HTML formatting for unordered lists has already been fixed!  Thanks to Michael B. on his prompt service!

We’ve discovered a minor conflict between our external CSS stylesheet and HTML unordered lists.  This will be resolved shortly.

In testing out blog editing features in the Opera 9.01 browser, we’ve identified some random problems.  At this point in time, using either Firefox or Internet Explorer 6 is preferred.  We’re looking into some workarounds, however.

UPDATE: there is also an annoying issue with IE 7 Beta 3 with popup blocking when writing a post and trying to use the link button feature.  This is not specific to BodySpace, this happens with a lot of blogging sites, including Blogger and WordPress - but only in conjunction with IE7b3.  Let’s hope Microsoft fixes this before they release the production version of IE7…
