V-Diet Program paused

October 28, 2009

Made it 1/2 way through the scheduled 28 day V-Diet.  I weighed in at 188.5 pounds today which is about 8 pounds down in 14 days with 1.5 inches lost from the waist measurement.

I ran into a lot of strees the last week.  I didn’t sleep well and snapped out a little in interactions with others. I was just overtrained.  I am back on the Warrior Diet for a week then back on the V-Diet.

Velocity Diet Part II day three

I did a thread in the losing fat logs on the Velocity Diet.  It got a lot of hits and positive supporting posts. The V-Diet went very well for the 23 days I was on it.

Then I took 7 days off the Velocity Diet.  Ate more than I thought I would during the days off. 

I wanted to get back into the V-Diet because I liked it a lot.  It worked as advertised for fast fat loss.

So I am on it Day 3 now.  Trained with weights both days 1, 2 and today is a rest day.  The diet part was right on on days 1,2.

Sundays will be the day for a HSM. HSM= plate of healthy solid food.

Saturday is the only day for pics, weight, tape measurements.

I am using the same 50/50 casein/whey blend from last time.

Same calories as last time.  1500 on non training days 1800 on training days.

The V-Diet works very very well with preworkout supplements.  I got a Cryoshock for this time.  It got awesome reviews and I can’t wait to try it tomorrow!

Basicly I had the foods/supplements and I knew all the amounts of calories, fats and I can use that again to burn fat again.

DAY 2 Summerfest 2009

This is DAY 2 of the 2009 Summerfest

Day 1 trained a lot.  Did a few hours of training and didn’t eat much.  Had some almonds and cheese.

Day 2 trained and had some good food.

Did the Warrior Diet both days although I didnt wait too late in the evening to start eating.

That makes 2 days in a row in the xvest.  Solid session. Full body like usual with farmers walks and pullups.  Went 50 minutes and was intense.

Feeling good.

Yesterday Monday I was still feeling Sunday nights meal digest even 10 hours into the day.  Its Tuesday a.m. and had only a few carrots and apples. 

Took a full 2 days off of training after all those days on.  I needed the rest after all those on days.

Got some stuff planned for later.

Yesterday was probably the most work I did in 1 day as long as I can remember.

Did 3 xvest walks and 1 training session in the undereating phase.  I mentioned 2 of the walks in the previous blog. 

Did a db squat based workout with towell swipes and some chest then went on the 3rd walk right after.

Had the xvest digging into my traps a lot during the last walk.  Having that 40lb vest on for 2 hours in a row can do that.  Had to dump the vest in the last 20% of the walk and then drive back to get it lol.

Had a high carb croc with chicken+barley+ corn and it KO’ed me quickly.

Getting more definition and more definition and more!

All in xvest.  Regular walks about 1 1/4 hours each and a full body weight session.

That is a lotta training over the last 3 days. 

Gonna have some meat and nuts  and cheese tonight.

Back to the weights after rest week……

Just trained.  First weight training workout in 7 days.

Felt great. Muscles were totally fresh after that layoff.

I feel very good about my walks and food choices from the last week too. See previous blogs for more info.

Did xvest db holds and farmers walks with the HD and LD.  Did some chest and some split leg db thrusters LD.

Don’t worry if you don’t understand the above workout. I busted ass and used the big muscles in the body basicly for 42 minutes.

Gonna have a high carb main meal.  Got corn, barley, chicken, oats and stuff like that to watch the NFL draft today.

UE 4/24 Undereating for Forty-three hours….

Well its been about 43 hrs of undereating.  In those hours it’s been water, about 5 oranges a mango and a banana I think something close to that anyways.

Got some organci burgers cooking gonna be a highfat main meal and a BIG MEAL lol

Well got in another xvest walk this morning and the walks went well in place of the training this week.

6th and final day of planned weight training rest.  Gonna train tomorrow and watch the NFLDraft.  I hope the Giants get a good WR or LB.

UE 417……Twenty hours in

April 16, 2009

Twenty hours into undereating.

 Ate a lot of macadamia nuts and ate a steak cooked in coconut oil.  Really good stuff last night. Ate a lot overall. I do well with highfat nights like that.

So right now I am feeling good and I don’t need a main meal tonight.  Gonna hit a xvest walk possibly before training around the 40 hour range tomorrow just like I did on previous UE that went that length.

Undereating (UE) for 36 hours now……..

April 10, 2009

Trained 2x so far in the current undeating phase AP10. 

Well 1 was a xvest walk and the other was some serious total body weight training in the xvest about 23 hours into the phase.

Did some push up to planks and they were really intense! It is like spraying sweat from a garden hose.

Also did some other stuff like db DL’s and got a really good workout in.

45 mins straight in 40lb xvest.

Had 30g whey+ 8oz whole milk during and after training last night but had no main meal. 

Kept in the undereating phase after last night’s workout and I am gonna train later today and then eat like a raging tiger!

The total UE phase will be approx  43-45 hours.

Did some of these 45 hr phases last few weeks (see other blogs for details) and the fat loss really accelerated. 

The current phase feels very good coming off of those high carb days where I had 5 straight days of carbs and a lot of em’.
