Everything is new in ‘09………we got a new President…….GO BAMA (get it?)!!!…..Got a new daughter……..and now I have a great outlook on fitness. 3 weeks into the new year……..I’m in the gym regularly……..I’m managing a new diet……and I’m down 3 lbs thus far. I’ve definitely found that socializing on BB.com has been GREAT for the motivational department, but I’ve totally dedicated myself to the "cause" this year and I’m slowly but surely seeing results. Losing a lb a week is a little slow, but its been consistent, so it definitely keeps the mood rollin. It’s about to be an AWESOME year. Be on the look out BB.com…………BLACKJUGGERNAUT WILL BE BRINGING IT IN THE ‘09……………YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!!

Okay……its seriously been a minute since my last blog, but here goes….. Haven’t changed all too much since my last post. I think at this point, I’m still somewhere in purgatory when it comes to getting the results that I want and still being pissed at my current situation. With a weight goal of 235 lbs………year to date, the closest I’ve come was only getting down to 261.5. The summer was definitely NOT my time…….between business trips……birthdays……..4th of July cookouts more birthdays…..I managed to up myself to around 268. Now…….fast forward to August. I spend the entire month living the Atkins lifestyle to only to lose a whopping 3 lbs. 3lbs!?!? (incoming WTF moment). Now, essentially, I’m a calorie conscious individual….lotta fruits, salads……whole grains…….water….etc. I usually allow myself one "cheat day" a week (normally pizza) or a favorite dish from the Cheesecake Factory, but I’m only at the +/- 1 lb a week. So…….August comes and goes……..I’m only down a single solitary pound for the month. So…….bring in September…..still a little pissed cause I’m not where I wanna be, so……..THIS IS MY MONTH RIGHT? I crank up my water intake…….keep the calories low….hit up the gym for a couple hours a night 3-4 nights a week……..AND……..we’ve now increased cardio. Between long nights run/walking with the dog…….I’ve jumped on a treadmill for roughly 20 minutes a whack right after a workout. Riddle me this…..20 minutes…….on a treadmill……..at a 10% incline…….at 5 mph should shed something right? Now……in my defense…….I did starting taking "MoneyTechs" Creakic Hardcore about 4 weeks ago. Now…..say what you wanna about their product……..this ISH WORKS!!! In just two weeks time…….I’ve busted through every plateau that I’ve had when it comes to working out. EVERY exercise that I do I’ve been able to add anywhere from 10-20 lbs in just a week or two. Now……the flip side……….I’ve GAINED roughly 7 lbs in the last month. Now, being a "convenient optimist", I figure that this 7 lbs has gotta be muscle and yes…..muscle weighs more than fat…….but……lots of muscle is supposed to burn fat………right?

Alright………it’s been a little over 3 weeks since hitting the "reset" button. I’ve actually been rather good at keeping myself in the gym (3-4 times a week) and keeping myself in the midst of cardio training (in the form of 20-30 minutes on a stair climber). Diet wise…….looking even better. Have managed to keep myself away from fast food, fried foods, candies, cookies, sodas, etc. Now……depending on what website you use……for my height, weight and activity level I supposedly burn 3200-4200 calories a day. My current intake is around 1800-2500 a day. NOW…….3 weeks later…..my total weight loss has been 2 lbs. 2 whole lbs!? WTF!? Now granted……I’m not expecting to lose 10 lbs a week, but damn……2 lbs in 3 weeks?! I can eat two whole pizzas Friday/Saturday and pick up 5-6 lbs over a weekend, but between working out, eating right and climbing so many f’ing steps I should’ve hit the atmosphere by now and all I have to show for it is 2 funky lbs!? The whole "muscle weighs more than fat" concept does nothing but further enrage me because I’m only slightly stronger in the last few weeks than I’ve been since the beginning of the month. Okay……that being said, I’m done venting now. Although I’m failing to see results…….I’m going to continue to keep it up cause I essentially have nothing better to do. Well……that and I seriously detest the way I’m looking now. <shrug>……..no rest for the weary…….or is that "wicked".

Okay…….well…..here we are, the end of yet ANOTHER disappointing year. I pretty much missed all of my goals for ‘07. I think I started off well, but……..well…..I’m not going to make any excuses…..I simply didn’t get the job done…….PERIOD. Well…..on a positive note, I DID manage to stay in the gym pretty regularly during the last few months. I think where I failed was to maintain a fair diet (well….better eating habits) and I probably should have done better with cardio (most people REALLY don’t understand when I say I hate cardio). But……as so many of you have pointed out on BB is that we all f*ck up occassionally…….whats makes the difference is which ones of us sit there in a puddle of self pity or which ones of us, shake it off and get the job done (special shout out to toobigfred). So……tonight……the sub par performance of ‘07 is gone. Tomorrow is a new year……..a new opportunity for change. With that said………time to get the lead out……….and do some things in ‘08!!!! See ya’ll at the top!!!

Well………..it has definitely been quite some time since my last post…..and there is definitely a good reason……I have definitely fallen off the fitness wagon. I’ve let the "I work too much" excuse get in the way of my ideal fitness goals. Although, I’ve actually managed to pack on a little bit more muscle, I’m still allowing my bad eating habits to hinder my weight loss. Well…….that and my total hatred of cardio exercise. Technically……..this is still a new month…..I think I shall rededicate myself to the cause. Invariably, I am somewhat perturbed, because I have let most of this year slip by without much gain. However, I am learning that you can’t do anything about yesterday……..but what you do today and tomorrow is what counts. So……..what’s done is done……..yeah, I f’d up, but now I gotta get it rolling. We shall see………..

Okay….okay, since I’m on a site that allows people to be out and open, I have to admit I have slacked off somewhat in the last couple of weeks. I managed to pick up 8lbs, but it does appear to be more muscle than fat. I ended up switching diets as it were. No longer am I on Atkins, but I’m taking a healthier approach to weightloss by eating better, drinking more water and increasing (or rather starting) cardio. I have gotten stronger in the last month (picked up 1" on the guns), but I’m still not where I want to be bench wise.

Well…..here it is……the first day of construction work. Last year is done and over with. Everything starts from today. No more excuses. It appears as if I have all the materials I need to make this work:
Diet: High protein/vegetable (basically known as The Atkins diet)
Supplements: ON 100% Whey Gold Standard, GNC Mega Men’s Sports Multivitamin, Syntrax Fyre Fat Burner
Routine: Mon-Fri workouts (Routine under profile)
Construction Crew: BlackJuggernaut
This is going to be a pretty impressive structure once construction is completed. I’ll keep everyone posted.
