50 More to Go!
Thursday, January 15th, 2009So it’s been a month now since I’ve been hitting the gym. Can’t say that I haven’t had my share of involuntary obstacles try to get in my way either. From over training to non gym related injury and illness, it’s all been thrown at me. I must say though that I haven’t given up. I’m gonna make this happen for me. I think the reason I’ve failed in the past is because I was doing it for other people. You know, "I’ll go the gym with my buddy and we’ll both progress together." Then, when the buddy starts to flake, you use it as an excuse not to go that day either. Days become weeks, weeks become months, and so on. If I miss now, it’s all on me and that’s just the way I like it because I don’t think there’s anybody in the world who’s more critical of all of my faults than me. So here’s to me completing my first 22 workout routines. Looking forward to the next 50 and the results that will accompany them.
