Special Forces

My new training goal is getting ready for Special forces selection. I will be leaving for SFAS in september and trying to get strong and in shape for that. I am going to try to be a medic its a long hard road about 5 years of training but its my life goal. should be a fun process getting ready for it. more sweat in training less blood in war.

Finally home

Well its been a while since i last posted. I was transitioning from Iraq to being back in Kansas. I havnt been training that hard lately and my diet went to shit but i had my few days to pig out and have some drinks and now its back at it. Started running again yesterday and i thought i was going to die. I started out at a 6:15 pace but could only hang with that for about a mile or so. I breathed in so much dust over there that its hurting me now and i feel like my chest is going to explode. We are going back to schedualed PT tomorrow morning so we will see how that goes. gotta shed a few more lbs but i am happy right now 225 cant wait to get serious again

almost home

We are getting down to the last 20 days or so of this deployment. its been a while since i have put anything on here. but things are still going good and my new training has been going well. i have been doing power training a program from a guy that works with mens health and its amazing so far. i havnt been bored and have been really excited to go and work out so that is a good thing. i cant wait to get back to the US and hit it really hard i will be in amazing shape by summers end i look forward to all the hard work.

Been really busy doing 11 day patrol rotations. but still finding time to lift. its been good we are getting ready to come home early april. i have also started running so i hope i can knock of the rest of this fat i want to lose. i try to keep updating this thing but its hard only getting the comp once ever 11 days or so. anyways nothing else really new.

Chest Today after tough mission

So i am finally rested from that big mission. I ended up hitting tris yesterday anyways even though i was dead tired. Today i hit chest flat bench 135-20, 225-20, 225-15, 235-12, 245-8. Incline dumbell bench 4×12 70lbs thats all i can fit on bar, incline flye 2×12 45 follow by flat flye 2×12 45lb, 3×10 dips, 100lbs easy bar pull overs 3×10.

so we have a big clearing mission tomorrow. its days like these that put a big damper in your lifting routine. i am sure its going to take 12 or more hours to do this. so i hope i will be able to find time or energy to lift. i want to do chest and tris tomorrow and some abs. well see but hey price to pay when you are a deployed soldier i guess. army strong hooah (not really)

i have a pretty decent tri work out. but i only have barbell and dumbells to work with. if anyone would share there techniques for building mass in tris with me with what i have to work with that would be awesome. give me some tips on sets and reps.

poopy faced

i have been working out so hard the last month. i measured today and i sadly found out that. the only thing i gained size on was my chest. i feel bigger and stronger thats for sure but nothing is adding to the tape. i dont know what i am doing wrong. i am staying motivated but its getting hard to.

So they have been up for a few days. but this is the first time that i have been confident enough to put pics like that on the internet. i use to be fat as hell. still need to improve i still feel fat. but if anyone would check them out and let me know if they think i am doing good so far that would be great. i like complements and some corrective critisism. anything you can see i need work on by all means comment on that.
