Today, as usual, I worked on my legs. I started with leg extensions with 5 sets 2 warmup sets then I went on to squats. I always do a couple of warmup sets of squats also to makes sure that my legs are going to do it. Starting at the 315 then went to 405 then went to 495 at that point realizing that although I did 8 good reps I was feeling tired. Of coarse with a good bit a testosterone in my system I jumped to the 600 pound mark and went for the gusto, mistake. I got it up and then went down but when the rise part of the rep didn’t happen I thought I was in trouble. I was smart enough to put the bars up to protect me and wasn’t injured, although me knee is tight nothing serious though, I was pretty freaked out. It hasn’t happened in a long time and I am usually smarter than that. Scared me a lot.

Summer colds are the worst! They are the hardest to gwet rid of and one shouldn’t really work out while one is sick so I am just stuck! This stinks, I am just grateful I can’t smell it.

wokred shoulders today, i always am a little leary about working shoudlers. I hurt my shoulder about a year ago and it is now geting to the point where it doesn’t hurt. I still powerlift with dumbells(90lb’ers)but I have gottne into doing lighter weieghts with more reps. I power lift to failure with the first set, them I take the weight down to managable weights and more reps to failure. Still getting great pump, but I am woried that i won’t grow like I should. Don’t know we shall see, I am going to stay with this for a while.

Getting to the point where I am starting to really love back workouts, the rows, endlessly pulling, feeling the muscles fill with blood so much that it feels like your lats are puching your shoulders up around your neck.

I got my new squat suit last week and tried it out for the first time. It was great, I broke my goal for the summer of 550 very easily and went past but I got scared, I admit it. Afterwards there wasn’t any D.O.M.S. and I was disappointed despite the fact I was able to lift more for more reps. Going to just have to do more!!!!

What does Easter mean to most? I know what most people think it is about, maybe your in the easter egg catagory or the chocolat bunny group. Maybe your in the faction that thinks that Easter is about the family dinner and the get together and all that stuff is great, but the truth about easter has to be said everywhere.
Three days ago on a Friday morning about 2000 years ago, the Son of God was hung on a cross for the sins of the world. This morning, three days after he hung that very same cross, Jesus beat death and conquered sin for all and rose from the dead. Today is the day that I celebrate the fact that my savior is alive and sitting by the right hand of the Father to prove to the world that He is who He said He was, the "Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world", My God, My Lord, and My Savior.

My lats are getting big, I am starting to see the cuts in all the little muscles. The one I love the most is the "V" cut at the bottom of the lats, and in the bottom of the middle of the traps. I think this shape is so awesome. God is such an artist!

Today is shoulder day. Trying to make rocks on the end of my neck bolders on the end of my neck. Nothing like some heavy military presses to get them going then some dumbell presses to finish them off. Not to say that I was done just that I pushed hard enough to stop after that. Next into side laterals with 2 50 lbs dumbells, never used that much before, and my shoulders are hot enoughb to fry an egg on them. I love shoulder wokouts, the way the shoulders swell and then you can’t move your whole arm, it’s awesome.

Yesterday was leg day again, and today is leg soreness again. People love to watch and comment on my workouts. I can see them talking and gawking but I just have one thing to say to the gawkers.
"SHUT UP AND LIFT!"
