I made it a point this week to make sure I stick exactly to my plan. I did stick to my plan the last two weeks I just had a couple rough spots. This week is no exception. I did stick to my workouts, which are going good. I can definitely see improvement there. I notice I am able to do a few more reps on certain exercises and I have moved up weight in most of them. I also notice that I can do a higher intensity cardio session for longer.
However, it is almost time to start up a new routine. I have got to keep my body guessing. I need to actually run on a treadmill. To this point my cardio has been on an eliptical machine. I tried running on a treadmill this week and my calves got all cramped up. I had to stop seven minutes into the session. Next week I will definitely try again. I think it was because I haven’t been drinking as much water as I should.
I read that I should be drinking at least a gallon a day. So I have been trying, I never thought that it would be so hard to actually finish a whole gallon in a day. I have ended up downing a half gallon within an hour and a half of going to bed. Which isn’t good because I wake up a hundred times to go to the bathroom. I’m sure I will get into a better rhythym with it eventually.
Next week is a big week. Not only is it the end of this routine before I start a different one but it is measurement week. This week will tell me if I am heading in the right direction. I’m confident that I am.

Yehah, end of week 2. Feeling real good (besides the abundance of DOMS). Lifting was great all week, Im feeling pretty strong. Cardio was fun as well, I do have to switch it up though it will get very boring soon. Looking forward to starting week three. I now have got all my supplements in and I will be using them daily. I forsee changes coming faster now!

What a week, very exciting and very sore. I do a five day routineĀ of lifting focusing with each muscle group getting a day of their own. Leg day…yeah I still feel it two days later. My diet is going very good, so far I have been able to stay on track with it. Although eating rice sucks big time. But luckily its not a major part of the diet. The amount of protien I have been eating seems to be paying off. I feel stronger. I will be putting up my before picture and I will update it once a month.
Oh yeah cardio, still amazing…weird.

So far so good, lifting feels good and cardio is amazing. Never thought I would say that.
I started taking Animal Cuts and Animal Stak on day 2. Had a very bad reaction but I will continue for a while longer with it. Hopefully it goes away.
All is good and hopefully see some good results in a couple weeks.

Alright, starting weekend a little rough…not to much time for the gym. Championship football game was on sunday…we won!!!! It was a shut out 21-0.
Today was the first set of lifting with the new program. It was specifically focused on the shoulders. Talk about burning muscles, I felt like my arms were going to fall off. My shoulders were looking big when I was done, had a nice little pump. I guess NO Xplode works pretty good.
After lifting I did 45 min of cardio and I ran about 5.75 miles in that 45 minutes. I felt pretty good after that. Except now my muscle are a little tight but nothing a little water and stretching won’t fix.
Now I am looking forward to tomorrow…legs!!

Alright, my first blog. Never thought I would say that but if it keeps me going I guess I have to.
I had been working out of and on for years and years. Consequently, my weight has gone up and down with it. I would go on benders only to then regret it and start again.
Well all that has changed. I am getting older and I am pissed that I am not in the shape that I should be. So it has come time for me to take that first step and commit myself to my goal…for the rest of my life.
Starting November 1, 2008 I will be hitting the gym with a great program that I and one of the best trainers in the area have created for me. So this is the first post….there will be more.
