2k9 Week 7, Friday

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Good leg workout last night, but I overdid it a bit with leg curls because I had to stop and stretch my hamstrings for a few minutes so they wouldn’t cramp up.

Otherwise, leg night went great. I skipped cardio last night due to fatigue, aside from the fact that I’ve already done 5 days worth of cardio this week. I’ll be skipping it again tonight because my friend is coming over after my weight lifting for another stretch session.

2k9 Week 7, Thursday

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Back night last night, and I got to the gym late. My friend and I have been doing the stretch routine at my house, and I did that last night instead of my cardio. Feeling good today, if a bit tired. I’m gonna have to make sure I’m getting enough rest - 5 hours a night just isn’t gonna cut it.

Else, been doing pretty good with the diet. I’ve been making sure to get my meals for the next day ready so that I have no excuses to go out and buy take-out food. I’ve put myself on a food budget, along with my monetary budget. :)

Tonight is leg night, which I’m actually looking forward to. My legs have been feeling great lately.

Back from the gym and just wanted to do a quick blurb. I feel good, been doing my stretches and tonight’s workout was good. I’ve gotta get my food together for tomorrow and I’m gonna hit the sack.

2k9 Week 6, Sunday

Ok, I just updated all my measurements for this week and am happy to say that the three important ones are moving in a downward direction. (Hips, Waist, Weight) I’ve lost just about 10 pounds from my weighing in at 326 a few weeks ago so that’s encouraging.

This week I’m gonna be able to get back in the gym so I’m really excited about that. I have the day off tomorrow so I’m gonna use the extra time to get my food in order for the week.

2k9 Week 5, Tuesday

Ok, so that bug I had last week also made me miss work, which affected my paycheck and consequently I haven’t really had the money for the gas to get to the gym.

A minor setback, but I’ll be back on track next week for certain. In the meantime, I’m still doing what I can at home with the diet and getting stretches done.

2k9 Week 4, Monday

So I caught whatever horrific bug has been going around here lately and it wiped me out for the past few days. I almost went to the gym yesterday but wasn’t quite 100% so I decided to start back today instead.

I didn’t get my measurements done this week, so I’m not sure if I made progress. I’m gonna keep up with my current caloric intake; 2500 seems to be a good amount for me.

My hips haven’t really been bothering me much lately except for being a bit achey at times, so I’m very happy about that. Here’s hoping that they’re on the way to being permanently mended.

That’s pretty much it. I’m gonna finish up the 2nd 3 set week and then I’m moving to the 4 set week next week; that’s when the weights get really heavy.
