I’m not at home right now, but I got my last workout in this morning.
Nothing special to report about today’s workout.
I didn’t end up adding the leg portion back into my workout from yesterday’s session due to continued hip issues. Next cycle I’ll start from the 2 set week and go from there. I don’t want to jump back into the legs with a lot of intensity right away.
I’m staying at a friend’s house tonight so measurement day may get put off until Monday. I’ll check and see if he has a measuring tape so that I can at least input something.
Diet’s been good today so far - a bit carb-heavy towards the middle of the day, but the end of the night will be fine.
Next week is the 2nd 3 set week. I’m looking forward to seeing how far I can take this momentum.

Another quickie update - good day today.
Just got in from an awesome, energetic workout. My energy stayed consistent throughout the entire session. I’m gonna eat my last meal for the day and hit the bed; I want to get to the gym as soon as the doors open tomorrow morning for my last weight session for the week.
Diet was very good today. This whole week has been a great week for my diet. I’ll post the workout details tomorrow when I get home on the Workout Tracker.

Ok, finally got a weight workout in. Yeah, I know, very late start to the week, but that’s the way it happens sometimes and you have to roll with the punches or you’ll just get the wind stomped out of you completely.
Today’s diet was pretty good, if a bit carb heavy towards the end of the day. My body has really gotten used to the frequent meals because if I wait even a little bit I get very very hungry and grumpy.
Tomorrow is my next weight workout and then Saturday will be my last one for this week. Hopefully next week I’ll be able to stick to my regular schedule.

Ok, quickie update:
Diet on Tuesday was really good, but yesterday I cheated a bit and had some pizza. I don’t feel bad about it, though, because I can’t even remember the last time I had pizza. Other than that pizza, though, the rest of the day was really good.
My workouts are all going to be done today, tomorrow and Saturday. It couldn’t be helped. Also, the gym is mega-packed now, even when I go in after 9pm. Later on in the week it seems to abate, but fark, Monday - Wednesday - forget it! I did get in a quickie 15 minute cardio session yesterday, though.

Quick update - yesterday I stayed home to get a few things done. Tonight I also have things to take care of at home so I will be doing my stretches and light cardio. I’m moving my first weight day to Wednesday.
Diet yesterday was really good.

Did good on measurements today; nothing spectacular, but they’re still going down which means I’m doing good on my consistency and my diet. This week I plan on maintaining this momentum.
The first 3 set week starts today. I’ve been thinking about re-integrating the leg portion of my weight workouts back into my weight training days. I’m not sure how that will go because I know that my hip is still iffy at times. I’ll see what happens - hopefully all this time off will have done some good.
That’s the plan this week.

I was exhausted on Friday when I got home, so I opted to stay home and rest and move my workout to Saturday.
Diet on Friday was real good.
Saturday was another good day, though a little carb heavy towards the middle of the day.
The workout was good and I got in a good cardio session on the hybrid.

Yesterday was good but I had to stay at work late so I had to choose between cardio and stretches. I chose cardio and knocked out a great 30 minute session on the elliptical.
Diet was really good again - I’m gonna keep this momentum going as long as I can. I’ve done really good this week.

Yesterday was great. That is all.
Today was good as well, despite the fact that I got to the gym a bit late. That gym is pretty packed even around 9:30. I know a lot of the faces, but there’s definitely some new folks in there. We’ll see which ones stick around.
I didn’t do stretches today and I only got in 15 minutes of cardio on the hybrid, but I still feel good about tonight’s intensity. I’m pretty beat and ready to go to bed.
Game plan tomorrow: repeat Tuesday’s non-weight day performance.

Last week ended, well, miserably. I think I suffered mental burnout because I just could not motivate myself to get to the gym for those last 2 5-set weight workouts.
On Friday night, I thought long about the situation and decided that I’d forgo the remaining 5-set workouts for the 3rd cycle and re-start with the 2-set week. I know that it was the right decision because tonight’s workout kicked major butt.
But more on that in a bit.
First - the end of last week.
…
…
…
That about sums it up. I didn’t do any other workouts of any kind the rest of that week. Diet was good on all days, though, with a bit of a sloppy day on Saturday. (I went to a crab feed. ’nuff said.)
So today, Monday, rolls around and I’m feeling really good and rested. I can feel my hip a slight amount during my normal strolling, but nothing bad. Diet was spot on. Got to the gym and my regular machines were pretty much taken up the whole night; I had to improvise a bit and use other types of machines that do the same muscle group. (I simply cannot use free weights due to my weak joints.) It didn’t seem as busy to me as it usually is on this night; I got done real quick. (LOVE the 2 set weeks.)
Restarting the cycle early definitely made a big difference in my mental attitude today; I didn’t spend the entire day dreading that night’s workout. Got my stretches done, did my weights, then 30 mins. cardio on the hybrid.
Tomorrow I’m 100% doing my stretches and a 30 minute cardio session.
But now, bed.
