Today I did my 5 mile walk/run. This is the end of Week 3 for my marathon training program. I am feeling good about it. The aches and pains are starting to set in a bit.
I stepped on the scale again last week, and I was shocked to see that I have gained weight despit the fact that I have been walking or jogging for 3 weeks straight. What an oddity!

Well, I am on my second week of my Jeff Galloway Marathon program. I still got my butt out there in the cold and drizzling rain, because I know that if I miss a day it might be all down hill.
I did my 3 miler this past Sunday, even though I was on vacation in sunny Charleston, and hanging at the beach.
So, still progressing. Change is a coming..and I cut my hair to prove it..yes, on another note I cut off my locks and have the teeny weeny afro (TWA) -
Yes, I still look good and if I stick to the program my body will look and feel good as well.
Adios,

Well, I picked up Jeff Galloway’s Marathon book. It reads like everyone can run a marathon. The beginner program consists of 30 min of walk or run/walk 5 days a week, and with a long run on Sunday that gets longer each week. So, I started the program yesterday, and will keep ya posted. I feel great.

w the contestants push themselves. If they can push then I should be able to push too, right?
Well, I weighed myself this morning and the scale said I was a significant amount lower than expected. I have not been exercising or eating right, so I am not sure what it is. I did weigh myself in the morning when I usually do it in the evening.
So, I got up and exercised this morning with Exercise TV. I feel good. I was super tired, and moving slower than the folks on tv, but I didn’t stop.
I will try and keep up the momentum, and today I will set another weight goal, since it appears I have reached one of the ones I set by surprise.

Well, I went to the gym this morning and did my Lower Body Workout and 20 minutes of cardio. It was kind of tough since I had a long night last night. Oh, and I weighed myself and it looks like I lost 5 pounds. Normally I weigh myself in the evenings, so this may have made a difference, but it is still progress in the right direction.

My arms are still sore from Mondays workout. I can barely bend my arm to put on earrings and buuckle my bra. My triceps are the sorest.
I did my lower body yesterday, and it wasn’t too bad. Will add more weight next time. Tonight I’ll go and get some cardio in. (Wish I could get some rack pt — Anyway, the treadmill will have to do

Well, let’s see I just came back from the gym. Finished my upper bodyworkout. And, I feel great. Arms are a bit sore.
I didn’t quite follow my meal plan all day. Well, I did follow the first four meals, but in the evenings I tend to want to munch out more.
Go figure.
I need to take an updated picture, but I broke my camera so I am trying to figure out how to get one taken.
Talk to ya tomorrow.
