You know I have done a lot of different variations of movement for calves, and the only 2 thing that works for me are supersites or just plan old workin out using high reps 20 - 30. but my calves just grow slow...

Genetics can be ur worst enemy at times. But, I agree with Make_A_Change, if u train them several times a week doing different variations they should improve. My problem area is abs...even at my leanest I still didn't have washboard abs!

You can count me in. No one in my family has calves. And what I do have comes from working them 3-4 times per week, 4-5 sets, 20-30 reps. That's been the only way that I've had any progress, so far.

Calves? Man, I've got the same problem.

They take time. A lot of time. Some people say to switch to using a high number of reps but I don't know. I haven't tried it consistently. I think thats because it hurts though.

Good luck with that though.

Mike,
U have great potential. I was stationed in Iraq for 14 months last year and know how it feels to be lifting but that is the nature of the beast. U will succeed in your goals and even if U sweat your ass off keep up the great work. Thanks for doing your part in Iraq also.
