ALMOST RECOVERED

Well, I finally got back to the gym on Wednesday. I’ve been away for almost a month after a battle with Dengue Fever. It’s wonderful, a little creature called the mosquito can give you such great gifts. I received over a week in the hospital, a couple of weeks in bed, fever of 104 to 106 degrees, two to three weeks of the runs, blackouts. The best part was a loss of 10 kilos because of the runs and no appettite. Amazing creature. I am told you get even more if you catch it a second time.

Anyhow, I finally recovered and got back to the gym. I’m still a bit weak but I’m making profress. I gained back 3-4 kilos of the 10 kilo loss once my appetite came back because I wasn’t going to the gym. Hopefully I can maintain and even lose some more. I did get some of my medication reduced because of the weight loss and drop in blood pressure, So that was good.

It did ruin about half of my vacation to Boracay. That was a beautiful place. The beach is wonderful with loads of things to do. I would encourage anyone who can to take a trip there. I hope to go back in the future.

Hi, I read your post about the Taipai 101, wow what a great idea! Great job on getting up those stairs, I have no idea how I would do at that. Awesome! Congratulations on getting back to working out after being sick, that can be very difficult. Glad to hear you’re feeling better too, that must have been horrible. Good job and best of luck moving forward, you can do it!
