In bodybuilding… there’s two types of posers… 1) the serious athlete who looks to bust his butt, improve everything in every way he can and to display the physique he’s worked so hard to obtain by POSING and 2) the other people who POSE…. people who call themselves bodybuilders or always "want to improve" but do nothing about it or they block their own gains because it is too hard or it isn’t fast enough or they really quite simply… don’t want it enough. Which one would you like to be? Who are you in this realm?

For the first one… there are very few of us… I guess you either have it or you don’t.

The second one… there are too many of you…. If you aren’t that serious and you want to "improve" yourself… you better step up and realize what it takes. If not, then stop POSING as a serious athlete, and keep working in your own way on your improvements, but stop talking "seriously" and stop the POSING.

I thought about this while I was dieting, and now as I take my offseason more serious, I’ve thought about this further. I DONT CARE IF YOU DONT TAKE THINGS SERIOUSLY… I really don’t… This sport and the future isn’t everything in life…And it’s a very small minority of people who can truly do things right… But I DO CARE if you speak to me like you’re serious and act serious for a minute but then waste my time, and more importantly YOUR time… by goofing off or not caring enough to get things done or do things right.

If you want to bodybuild as a side recreation thing, or help your image a bit, or improve your health a bit… that is cool and I endorse that 100%… but if you tell me this and that, or claim this and that about how serious you are, (more like how serious you want to be) then you better sure as hell be serious and stop POSING.

This sport isn’t for everybody. I know this. I know it through and through. I’ve seen many people come and go. I’ve seen many people have 1 season and then be done forever. I’ve seen it all. I do not hold any harsh feelings towards anybody as a person, and I’ll try to help almost anybody obtain their goals if they show they truly want it…but as a "bodybuilder"… stop POSING. Put up or shutup. If you tell me you want it, you’d better want it and prove it, otherwise stop POSING.

I can see through you posers… it isn’t that hard. So stop lying. Lying to me, lying to YOURSELVES. Dig down deep, find what you truly want in life, what you want in things, what you want out of people, and if you even want anything out of bodybuilding. And be real. I respect without a shadow of a doubt anybody who can look me in the eyes and say "Hey man, I’m not that serious but I’d like some tips on how to improve, I won’t always be perfect in my lifestyle, and I understand it will hinder my gains, but I respect you and just want you to know I do want things, I want improvements, but I won’t always behave perfectly, I won’t always do things perfectly to get the ultimate results, cause I don’t take it as seriously."

If any of you can say that…. and not be like "Aah man, I wanna do this show" "Aah man I wanna get big" "Aah man I wanna get so ripped" and then not WASTE YOUR time or my time… then I’ll be glad to help you. But if you aren’t real with yourself, and you aren’t real with me. Just quietly move aside, and STOP POSING.

Long long long… blog… the start of my prep tracking going into last mon

I had a long blog here and the system decided to erase it. I tried to attach the document to this blog but that didnt work either. So I pulled it from my myspace, put it into Microsoft Word, and the painstakingly (due to length limitations) put it in it’s own thread in the forums… Which also meant the system didn’t like all the Word coding so apostrophes became question marks…. so please try to ignore that… it’d take me way too long to try to fix every last one of those… Anyways read it if you’re curious to see what goes on in the mind of a competitor the final month. 41pages or so so get your glasses out :) Please check back frequently and comment here. Thanks.
