Its tough….to de-fluff!!!
Hummm, where to start…..how about at the piece of cheese cake?!?!?!? OMG! I mentioned last week that I had a business golf trip and would be traveling three days. What I didn’t mention was that it was our ANNUAL golf outing for the ENTIRE industry that I’ve grown up in….needless to say its always nothing but fun mixing great wine, great friends and golf with about 170 other people!
I kicked butt right out of the gate with some awesome workouts, including cardio!!!!, and eating clean Saturday and Sunday. Monday was where it all got a lil crazy! I ordered a cheese cake for my husband (his fav) while he went to the bar to get a drink. He didn’t return….as I sat there waiting and visiting with everyone else at our table I took a bite, then another, then another…..OMG! Ladies..if I’m gonna have a cheat dessert it aint gonna be cheese cake! (stay with me here….it gets worse)
Tuesday played golf - had a blast - thanks to Jules I did a lot of walking! BTW…I love getting these lil e-mail butt kickers on my blackberry from our fab de-fluffers while I’m being lazy! But then it all went down hill…..I realized as I was washing up for dinner back at the club house that I LOST MY WEDDING RING! Oh yes.
THE ERROR…..I was "watching" a hole for hole in one shots after my round was over and I took my ring off to re-braid my hair. Someone started teeing off - with some poor aim, I jumped behind a tree in hast to keep from getting hit forgetting about taking off my ring and laying it in my hat while I refreshed my doo.
SIDE NOTE……I’ve been married 15 years and last year was totally blessed with getting to design my own "upgrade" with a jeweler in KC. My kids call it my "I’m happy ring" because it is a lot easier to see.
So I jump on a cart - go out to hole 15 - get on my hands and knees and start crawling and praying! Its way to heavy to land on top of the tall grass where I was sitting so I had to press and feel. With all the rain, their grass was lush and thick!!!! Thoughts were racing through my head like "does insurance cover stupidity???"
After about 15 min I found it……God answers prayers even when all because of stupidity! I was freaken stressed and washed out at that piont. Back at the club house i got a small plate and a glass of wine to help calm me down, then another, before I knew it, it was 11pm and I was at a party on the patio eating pizza!!!! It was not a proud moment…….that took a couple days to completely recover from. lol!
So anywho…..lets try this again, shall we? I totally fell off my defluffing wagon but I’m running to catch up and get back on! My week two’s goals were four days of lifting and three days of cardio. I had two days of lifting and two days of cardio. I’m going to set those same goals for my week three, only I shall make them this time!

Insurance does cover lost rings! My buddy who grew up down the street from me found out the hard way. His wife, despite only being married 7 years got a bigger ring, though her original was HUGE. She started training for 1/2 marathons and her ring slipped off of her finger and down the kitchen sink drain. He can laugh about it now that it’s going to be replaced. What he doesn’t know is that she’s going to upgrade again when the insurance check gets in! Alls well that ends well.

Girl, when did you get married??? You look far too yound to have been married 15 years!
I wouldn’t worry about the cheats–I think the positive feelings and all the walking and golf playing helped to curb the affect they had on you. I am so glad you found your ring though. It seems such a small thing, but it means so much when it’s from someone you love. Anyway, good luck on your goals this week! You will totally be on track!

I lost the teeny diamond off my ring about 10 years ago (I was in tears since we were so poor when he bought it for me)…I am not really a jewelry type person..so I didn’t think about it until the hubby gifted me with a little bigger one last christmas…very happy you found your happy ring! Keep training and watch that ring, the hands get smaller too (I check all the time when I diet for a competition)

Oh my gosh, that’s scary to hear about the ring, but I’m glad that it was found!! LOL at happy ring, too!
I don’t think cheesecake and pizza are so bad - just think, you did all that walking, plus probably burned extra calories freaking over the ring situation (at least I like to tell myself that whenever I panic since my heart is jumping out of my chest!)! It’s a brand new week, and I hope you have a wonderful one, beautiful!!

I’m so glad you found your ring. I wouldn’t worry about the splurges, you are well on your way to gettong back on the horse, and you are so active anyway. Good luck this week!

Are you kidding me?!! You shouldn’t feel so upset that you had some wine to calm your nerves. You needed that. It’s not like you drink wine and eat pizza everyday. Girl, dust yourself off and get back on that wagon.
I lost my ring 1 month after my wedding because I had lost weight. OMG. It was so terrible. My husband was pissed. I prayed and cried for another month straight…then I saw a note in the laundry room of our building and lo and behold, someone turned in my ring!! I still can’t believe a little old lady who looked like she could have used the money for a downpayment on a car willingly offered back my ring to me without taking a reward…totally amazing

Okay…. the voice of reason… jump on the wagon and don’t fall off again!! lol!! I feel like I am being dragged by it through the streets of abville… we all fall off, but those of us who have the will to jump back on and tighten our hands on the reign will have the results in the next two weeks…. come on girl… this is your chance…2 weeks left…YOU can do it!
