Good morning my friends!! Today is leg day for me. Sunday starts my new workout week. It is my heaviest workout day. I have always had very strong legs. Growing up I was a baseball player,an avid roller skater (my 1st job was at the rink,and a cheerleader(I know, who cares lol). Through all the years of being over weight I kept pretty nice legs and big calfs. They measure 16.5 which I dont think is bad. Chuck says they are diamond cutters. I guess that is good lol. Today my goal is to squat at least 241lbs which is my one squat max. I have a love hate relationship with squats. I just started doing them last month. I love them because I like what they do. I want a big ole round ghetto butt. I hate them because they wear me the hell out. Its a wonderful tired. My typically leg routine goes like this.
Squats 3 sets 10 reps 135lbs
Leg Press 3 sets 10-15 reps 295lbs-350lbs (after warming up 20 reps of 205)
calf raises 3 sets 20 reps 100lbs
lef extensions 3 sets 20 reps 20lbs(i know this is a huge weak area for me)
leg curls 3 sets 10 reps 50lbs
and then I do 45 mins of Cardio. I used to use the elliptical exclusively. Then I found out going over 120(for me) I am burning muscle. Not what I want at all. So, I have been using the treadmill on manual because it gives me more control. Typically I am walking at 2.5 speed 4-7% incline 45 minutes. I know I will have to up that and I am working towards it. I have done much better this past few days of eating clean. Gonna keep working on that.
