Good question. Wish I had a happy answer. I recently suffered a miscarriage. It was an unplanned pregnancy and a big suprise. Just when I was happy about it, I lost the baby. Today I started my diet again. Hoping to start my exercise routine again very soon. Trying to let my heart and body heal.

Were leaving for Ohio tonight after Chuck gets off work. Will be driving all night and most of the morning. Its 500 miles. Going to pick up the kids for the summer. Cant wait to see my family. Last time I was home I had lost 16lbs today I am down 32lbs. I wonder if they will notice? Cant wait to have all the kids here for the Summer. Wish us a safe trip.

I am just not having a good day. All started late last night when we went through our bills. Its always something, right? An emergency root canal and no dental insurance sure does put a damper on your pocket. What makes it worse, he has to pay for everything. I stay at home with the kids and he works. Who in the world could afford daycare with 5 kids? And, I love my babies. I dont want to hand them over to someone else. Then this morning my ex husbands wife started her shit. The woman is 6′2 and 450+lbs. And her mouth is 3 times that size. Takes everything in me to be the bigger person and not knock her ass out. If it wasnt for the kids I would never have to deal with her ass. I am so frustrated that I can just feel the stress building in my chest. Its crazy I let things effect me this way.

Turns out the knot on my forearm was just a nasty bruise. He & I love to wrestle and I believe I caught an elbow. A 230lb muscular man can throw quite an elbow lol. No worries though, Im a tough girl (flexing LMAO)!! My weight is at 215.5 today and holding. Seems like I just cant get under that! Going home to Ohio in 6 days. Last I was there I weighed 229. I really had hoped to be down to 210 by now. I can see changes as far as inches and how much I have toned up. Just gotta keep reminding myself, I didnt get up to 246lbs in a few months and I am not going to lose it all in a few months. JUST GONNA KEEP FIGHTING!! When I do get to where I want to be, I know I will be proud. Why? Because I didnt take no magic pill. I didnt have bypass. I sweated my little Sicilian ass off and changed my destiny. Thats something to be proud of in my book

I am feeling pretty down right now. Went to the gym today (leg day) and 20 minutes into our workout we found a knot on my forearm. It looks like a bruise but had a red streak running through it.It hurts like hell. I have a history of blood clots from a cancer I had as a child. Needless to say when Chuck saw it he ended our workout and brought me home to rest. Hours later, I am thinking its a deep bruise.Redness is gone and its not hot. We were wrestling last night and he may have elbowed me there. I love to wrestle
… I am just so damned mad that I didnt get to finish my workout. Tomorrow 9am(when daycare opens) I will be at the door ready to workout. I am lucky girl though, to have a man who loves me so much. Thank you Chuck!!!

Today was arm day. The first set (close grip bench) I wrenched my arm. I should warm up before arm day because it is my weakest body part. I can see my triceps shaping up really nice but I still have alot of fat on my biceps. I have pain running from my forearm to my elbow. I finished my workout. 60 minutes of agony. If anyone would like to share some good warm ups for arm day, I would really appreciate it. I got to get to the Vitamin Shope and get some new aminos. I ran out last week and I really believe they are important. I also want a new protein powder. Muscle Milk has so many calories. My lifting gloves are ripped and in bad shape. Need some new tennis shoes. Boy, am I a hot mess or what? Taking tomorrow off. Daycare hours wont work for us tomorrow (Chucks work hours) and then Sunday its back to the grind.

Since May 5.07 my weight has been bouncing from 213 to 217. The whole month of May was pretty much a waste as far as working out goes due to illness. I am doing great as of June 1st. Back on track with my diet and my exercise. Increased all my lifts. Increased my cardio. Bustin my ass. These are some of my immediate goals:
1-GET TO 210 LBS By Mid July (tons more to lose after of course)
2-INCREASE MY BENCH PRESS FROM 70LBS TO 90LBS
3-SQUAT 250LBS
4-GET MY ARMS IN SHAPE AND LOSE INCHES THERE

Its been a great week at the gym! I have increased my weights in almost every exercise I do. I am wicked sore, but it feels so good. Today was back day. I tried power cleans for the first time. Gonna feel that tomorrow. I love that I can see my back curving in, instead of being all fat and becoming very strong. Its so much easier to carry around my 19 month old daughter now, not to mention groceries. I used to leave that up to Chuck not I have no problem lugging them all in alone. He loves that! In Janurary I would get out of breath just pushing the carriage at the grocery. I actually ran on the treadmill today. I do cardio on fat burn,so that I dont burn muscle but I just had to know for myself if I could run on it. Turns out, I sure can! I feel a great sense of pride today!

Good morning my friends!! Today is leg day for me. Sunday starts my new workout week. It is my heaviest workout day. I have always had very strong legs. Growing up I was a baseball player,an avid roller skater (my 1st job was at the rink,and a cheerleader(I know, who cares lol). Through all the years of being over weight I kept pretty nice legs and big calfs. They measure 16.5 which I dont think is bad. Chuck says they are diamond cutters. I guess that is good lol. Today my goal is to squat at least 241lbs which is my one squat max. I have a love hate relationship with squats. I just started doing them last month. I love them because I like what they do. I want a big ole round ghetto butt. I hate them because they wear me the hell out. Its a wonderful tired. My typically leg routine goes like this.
Squats 3 sets 10 reps 135lbs
Leg Press 3 sets 10-15 reps 295lbs-350lbs (after warming up 20 reps of 205)
calf raises 3 sets 20 reps 100lbs
lef extensions 3 sets 20 reps 20lbs(i know this is a huge weak area for me)
leg curls 3 sets 10 reps 50lbs
and then I do 45 mins of Cardio. I used to use the elliptical exclusively. Then I found out going over 120(for me) I am burning muscle. Not what I want at all. So, I have been using the treadmill on manual because it gives me more control. Typically I am walking at 2.5 speed 4-7% incline 45 minutes. I know I will have to up that and I am working towards it. I have done much better this past few days of eating clean. Gonna keep working on that.
