Canadian Baseball team getting ready

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008

John Davies

With Baseball scheduled to start shortly, the Canadian Baseball team is ready to make a charge for a medal. Lead by the veteran Rheal Cormier they are interesting mix of seasoned professionals and up and comers, the Canadian squad can’t be overlooked. Possibly one the most interesting players is the late blooming Chris Begg, out of Niagara University, who has shown a great deal of promise in the San Francisco Giants farm system of late and could be called-up at anytime.

There has been a great deal of questions of whether Baseball should be a Olympic sport and whether it should be limited to players under a certain age and exclude those with professional experience. What’s your take on the issue?
