Jan Frodeno wins Gold in men’s Triathlon
In a stunning upset Jay Frodeno of Germany won the Gold medal in the Men’s Triathlon in a extremely tight finish that was highlighted by a final sprint to the finish. The Köln native finished only five seconds ahead of Canada’s Simon Whitfield of Canada who won the Silver one hour, 48 minutes and 58.47 seconds. Beautiful New Zealand will take great pride in Bevan Docherty bringing home the Bronze
