Great Britain’s Paul Goodison of wins Gold
Leading up to the London Games, Great Britain is putting together a remarkable performance in these Olympics. This continued with Paul Goodison improving upon his Athens fourth-place finish and winning Gold in the Laser (Men’s One Person Dinghy) as he raced to a brilliant tactical finale today to guarantee the victory. It was a brilliant tactical race for the Sheffield native who overcame the disappointment of Athens to bring the Gold home.

Vasilij Zbogar of Slovenia won the Silver while Diego Romero (pictured below) of Italy took home the bronze.
