Beijing Air Quality: Adequate For Games?

China is celebrating a "week of fresh air" - LOL

Here’s an excerpt from an article today at Telegraph.co.uk:

"China’s Olympic organizers are hoping to celebrate a week of ‘clean’ skies tomorrow after recording another day when Beijing’s notoriously poor air quality was officially judged good enough for the Games."

But "there are also continuing concerns over the level of dangerous ‘PM10′ particles in the air - fine specks of dust and debris caused by burning fossil fuels, each weighing no more than 10 micrograms. The particles are small enough to be inhaled, causing damage to lungs and other organs, and are a particular threat to the athletes assembling for the Games."
