The Few, The Proud

Well as many of you know, I am going to be enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. This is a challenge I am openly accepting and looking forward to this more then I hav with anything in my life to this point. Serving my country means a hell of a lot to me. I am not going to be one of these desk pencil pushers, i am going to the front line to hep others and protect he greatest thing known, freedom. But I have to be to 205 lbs.to be able to go in as a officer as I am planning on doing.  It is going to be tough because most of the weight is muscle put on though out football. So I have 1 year to change my body from the type of a offensive linemen to be the type that is going to fight for th freedoms Americans fought for overtime all around the year. Keep me motivated is going to be easy, this is all heart. I get a good laugh when I look at some of the people around where I live. They are pissed off and in a ****ing bad mood because Dunkin Donuts dosn’t have a large coffee for them in the morning. This is going to be tough work and  a lot of cardio workouts. But the objective is to focus most of my muscle strength from my whole body into my arms and legs. Slimmer will mean stronger and faster for the Marine Corps. But I want to talk about heart and pride. That person who depends on McDonald’s, do not understand what it means. I am going to go though a tough change and not once will my head drop or my heart shrink. Remember one thing, as we say in the Marine Corps, Semper Fi. And when you are working out at home, school or the gym, remember this. As there are people out there who have all the talent but care more about Dunkin Donuts, there are people like us who are always working to better our selves physcially, mentally and basic overall health. And for those tough workouts just remember to have that goal and no matter if it is running 5 miles in a time or reping 250 on the squat. Always keep faith in yourself and strive to be better then those ****-ups who don’t care.
