Update P6 Black and Stevep78’s training

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

Bdespo360

I haven’t written anything in a while. Training is still on a whole different level. I am in the middle of a P6 Black cycle. My bodyweight has gone up from 250 to 265 and I still lost another inch off my waist. My weights have gone up in the last twelve weeks from where they were to in some cases even doubled!

By keeping my protien intake really high dropping the carbs and working out like I won’t ever see the gym again I am getting into the decent strength area. Last night my last two sets of squats were 335 foir 10’s. I haven’t been able to squat that heavy in ten years since the last reconstruction on my knee. This is a huge accomplishment for me to hit this given all the joint trouble I have had in the past like maybe this time it is for real there will be no looking back only progressing forward!

Steve has laid out a detailed meal plan and workout and all I have done is followed it exactly to the letter. By doing so I have become an affiliate of Cellucor, I have regained some of the strength that I had been longing for as well as the muscle size!

This is only the beginning. Great things are on the horizon just keep tuned and you can see what we come up with next. What ever it is it will be HUGE!

Week 5

Monday, January 19th, 2009

Bdespo360

Week five was quite a bit more challenging it wasn’t set up with all the heavy weights it was more of a traditional bodybuilding workout plus there was that ab routine! The first time I attempted it, it was brutal by the end of the week still feeling it but adapted quickly! Steve keeps things interesting with changing the routine every two weeks! I cannot say enough good things about Steve his training or his nutritional program it all works. My body weight went up bodyfat went down. If there is anything that is not clear he makes it clear with video’s on his bodyspace page. This is one of the best decsions that I made teaming up with Steve this virtual training really work well for me. I can get my instruction go to the gym turn up my ipod and go to work. That is probably what I like best he is my trainer but I can go and do all my work on my own. I hate people standing over the top of me when I workout it is annoying and distracting. This is an awesome fit for me and anyone who wants to see results you really need to talk to Steve he is ready to get you there!

Week 4

Bdespo360

Week four came to a conclusion. I felt a little week last night! I backed off the poundage and by the end I was stronger than I had been! I feel much more confident in my handling of the poundage I have broke personal bests in most core lifts… I can’t say enough great things about Stevep78. He has a scheme going with my workouts and diet that are working incredibly! Without his program and guidance I would not be progressing!

The adition of cellucor to my supplementation schedule has  also made a marked improvement believe me it is worth the price tag!! Try it if you don’t believe me try some samples you WILL be ordering immediately the way you feel the way you can workout it is truly incredible

Week 3

Bdespo360

So here I sit with a familiar friend reminding me that Steve changed the workout this week! I actually have muscle soreness. My weight is staying in the same range but strength is going up from workout to workout! I would have to say that Steve Poynter is the PERFECT trainer for me I have a hard time staying on any routine for a long period of time. My body very quickly adapts and then the results are no more. I can add weights to exercises as well as take them away my muscles are as stubborn as me! He changes it up and forces me into muscle confusion! I have a great deal of knowledge on how why exercises plyo’s cardio speed and strength training. Here is my problem I can figure out exactly how to force people’s bodies to do what they want but in the same sense I can’t figure myself out! This is why I picked Steve his prices are extremely resonible but he is totally motivated for the people that he works with! His exuberance is addictive and transfers to your workouts and the table… Anyone that needs help or is shopping for a trainer hit up Steve he is awesome!

Beginning of Week 2

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

Bdespo360

So I followed the diet and exercises that were given to me by Steve! I actually found through this week that I am a lot stronger than I gave myself credit for. My Friday nights workout I actually did heavy deadlifts and scored 400 for all eight reps! I haven’t gone that heavy in ten years. Squats the night before I went 315 for eight my last set. Bench thats a whole different animal, I have some serious shoulder damage that I have to overcome and train around. This is the product of a lifetime of playing linebacker- I was the guy that everyone would watch to see me hit them so hard that they got carried off the field. I say that to say this after a lifetime of training and hurling my body as a missile into offensive backs and recievers has taken its toll on my shoulders. So bench and military presses are being done with lets say less than satisfactory weight. This I can live with. I am not here or in the gym to impress anyone but myself and I understand these short comings. I will simply keep plugging away.

Diet has gone fair I have found that my bodyweight actually went up this week! WTF? Apparently I have been underfeeding myself trying to lose the bodyfat. I did see a decrease after two days of rest this weekend. I will continue to plug away this week and eat correctly and see where I end up.

I don’t think I can say enough good things about Steve Poynter. Stevep78 on bodyspace. He is probably the best priced trainer on this web stie and really knows his stuff. Anyone can contact him and start seeing immediate results no matter what your goal! If you are questioning your routine and even if you are going anywhere with your current routine and diet contact him he will definately put you back on the right track!

Day 1

Bdespo360

So I have completed the challenge and training was stagnant. I hit the wall so hard and couldn’t find a way out! A friend told me that I should take a look at maybe a trainer.

I contacted Stevep78 Through his web site and thus far am more than satisfied. His prices are resonable and he is quick to respond even if its just a question!

Did the first workout last night. The reps are far fewer than I am used to- It is a power based workout. Phenomenal workout last night weight were heavy and I actually enjoyed training last night for the first time in about two months. I think that the diet and exercise will actually be beneficial for me because I have someone watching what and how I do in the gym and I am held accountable for the results by my effort put forward and adherence to my diet!

Bdespo360

Today as with every other day since starting the challenge I weighed myself and was at the same position as yesterday. I log bodyweight changes daily to be able to see the difference between differing caloric and macro intake has on overall bodyweight. Amphetalean especially with the twice a day dosage is by far the best and most complete fat burner I have ever used. It gives me the energy to make smart choices daily in food intake as well as powering my energy levels through quite grueling workouts.

I am increasingly surprised the number on the scale is continuing  to go down on a weekly basis. I am still pretty much on point to hit my goal of 80-100 lbs of weight loss by the end of the challenge.

I will increase cardio through the end of the month as well as increase protien intake for my weight workouts. I don’t want to lose any muscle mass and at the same time I still want to increase overall strength. My mucle mass on my left knee that I had surgery on last November is increasing in size strength and agility. This may be the best this knee has been in ten plus years. I have also doubled the flexability in this joint.

Overall I am quite pleased with overall development of strength, power, and vascularity as day sixty approaches. I am also quite happy that all the other contestants seem to be having the same success with Amphetalean which means that I will be able to purchase this product once the challenge is over so I can insure I meet my overall goals as far as fat loss goes…

As of today I have completed the first third of the challenge! I feel well the Amphetalean product is awesome going to try mixing up the dosage schedule in the next couple of weeks. As of right now i am down 37 lbs as of this morning on an empty stomach. While this is a cutting phase the additional protien is increasing the muscle size as well as strength!

Monday September 15

Bdespo360

Well yesterday was legs! I started off with 4×20 of front squats moderate on the weight to warm up my knee joint. I decided to do some circuit training on legs after that. I first do 1×20 of back squats rock bottom ( for my rock bottom) Followed by 2 min sprint style jump rope as fast as you can possibly stand it followed by single leg calf extentions all the way up and down for 20-25 reps per leg. Straight leg deadlifts on a bench all the way down to your shoestrings. finally leg extentions and curls. That is one curcuit and I did four curcuits last night!

Body weight as well as fat are down considerable since the beginning of the contest! I will take measurements and actual scale weight and get bf% done and up by friday morning!

My only real concern is my extremely high caffenine tolerence is starting to take over! What would be the results if you were to double the dosage one at 2 am when I get up and one at say noon? Is there any real risk to it? I still have a brutal cardio schedule and possible more weights so by the time I get through with work and working out I have been going for around nineteen hours.

I am still following the diet originally posted. I have not had any nutrient deficencies nor any effects that were noticeable from the carb restriction especially late in the day!

Bdespo360

Wednesday/Thursday- I ran right at 3 mles yesterday. I was wiped out which is uncommon for me so bagged the workout all together.

Thursaday- Woke up at 2 am hit chest and back. Bench 3×8 Decline 3×8 cable rows 3×8 upright rows 3×10 Three way Tri’s 3×10 preacher curl 3×10

This afternoon will be cardio and abs-Will shoot for somewhere in the 6 mile range depending on how I feel. After I complete run and abs I plan on swimming in the pool to hit the last bit of chest/back muscles that may have been neglected during the week

After training this morning had wake up supplements Amphetelean/Aminos/Multi vitamin and water. Post workout I had protien shake followed by a double serving of lean beef and some complex carbs. As of 0430 I have already drank 3 liters of water feel extremely dry this morning.
