My Diet

October 14, 2007

A lot of people seem to keep asking me about my diet, esp. as of late since i am cutting and people see my progress. So…I figure i might as well sum it up on here~

As of now, i do not count calories. I repeat, i do not, and will not, count calories….let me explain…

I firmly believe that hunger (not cravings) should control food intake. Why? the forum posts themselves prove this very theory each and every day. I am not one to fall blindly to the Universal Calories in vs. Calories out dogma and jargon that is sputtered around so much. We see it everyday, we are all individually different. Some may need more calories than others, some may need those very same calories from another macro than another, the pre-set formulas that calculate your caloric intake have a big hole in them, the lack individuality. They can’t not keep up with certain gene differences, they can not tell the difference between you and i, and for this very same reason, is why i let my hunger guide my caloric intake. Only you know when you truly need the energy to keep moving, only you know how you feel. I will elaborate further upon this theory later…this has come out as more of a Rant than a scientific approach like i intended it to be.

My Training

September 4, 2007

I am starting my cut, again, and this time have help from my uncle who is a former BB. I am going through the most vigorating workouts of my life (no joke). I love being pushed, always wanting more, always reaching for that extra mile, and he is simply there to help me do so. I have never been pushed so hard in my life. The cardio workouts are insane. As with the weight lifting, but the cardios are still pretty insane. Today (and yesterday) we did a drill called the slid, he strapped a sled filled with rocks (no wheels) that added up to 120lbs to my waist and upper body, i pulled it for a full 2 miles, then ran 3.5 more before calapsing. There is only one rule to his workouts. Give Hard or Go Home. By the end of every workout, i should not be standing… This will be continued for the 3 weeks that he is here with me. I will up date this everyday (or at least try to)
