My great neighbors got me an Easter Basket with doritos, cheetos, m&m, yougurt glazed "pretzels" and chocolates. I dont buy junk food and whenever I am off season and have the cravings for those I go to their house. Not often, maybe once every two months. Now that I started my diet I felt bad but I hidded them in the far rear end of my pantry cabinet so I dont see them for a while. hahhahahah
I did ate a small nuts easter chocolate egg yesterday. jijijjii

Well….. some of you might be wondering whats going on with me in the Lone Star City. Back to work on light duty. Doctors appointment on Monday and might get release to full duty which would be awesome. I have been cleaning up my diet just by watching what I eat. Started lifting at the GYM and being doing cardio 5x/wk. Trying to adjust to my work schedule and manage two workouts a day when I can. I still cant wear heals so no dresses nor skirts yet. )-: I decided to train for a show in September and another one in November. Right now the priority is to increase endurance and speed for running to get to 1.5 miles in 11:20 minutes pretty hard for me cause:
1. Dont like running
2. Post ankle and hip surgery
3. Hispanic genetics (Need to shrink the rear if you know what I mean….less weight to carry)
But, decided to get a trainer for conditioning and a thriatlon friend is helping me with hints to increase the speed and endurance.
Second priority is to increase endurance on bikes to get certified. It will help me to get more size on legs at the same time. Kill two birds at the same time.
Anyhow, thats whats on my plate right now. Hope you all have a Happy Ester and when things in life appear to be going down the drain just think how Jesus die on the cross for all of us and all the pain he suffered for us….that will give you the strenght to face any obstacles you might encounter in life. God Bless and thank you so much for all the words of encouragement throughout my recovery time. Till next….

Saturday Nutrition:
Terrible, terrible, terrible. Do I have to say more…..ENOUGH. The only good thing was that I went to a lent retreat at church. Not a good reason to indulge in food. Ay, ay, ay. What am I going to do with me? (-:
Training: PT. Been doing the “E-stem” machine 3 times a day for 30 minutes each and appears to stimulate the hip area and allow me to excercise the problem area more. I am getting stronger on my hip flexor but still with stabbing sharp pain. Limping less, but still limping. A lot of leg workout at the pool. Less impact appears to be helping.
Supplements: 1,000 mg vit C, 2 caplet triple advance strenght osteo bio flex, 100mg B complex, 500 calcium (vit D and magnesium), 400 mg vit E, 4 capsules slimquick naturals, 4mg astaxanthin, 1 tbps scivation extend, cheaters when eating the bad meals.
Tomorrow is sunday and I will start a one week out from a show diet, but will do it for two weeks and then a dry out diet for a week. It will definetely kick my butt, but thats the plan. I am hungry now, so 1/2 c 1.5% low fat cottage cheese.
Will try to post a pic tomorrow. No promises. After today indulges, I might break the camera. LOL

So….need to get rid of the damn tortillas and eating out.

Another terrible…oh no, horrible day. Got a phone call at 0700 from one of my friends to tell me that a close friend of mine have been involved in a motorcycle accident and that he died at the scene. So, my mind and my body were in shock all day. News stated he was ridding his motorcycle at outrageous speed specially for the location. He rear ended a jeep and his helmet cracked with the impact. The impact was so hard that the jeep flipped. We had a memorial yesterday and collected money for the funeral. He was so young….28, so happy, full of life and so positive about everything. He was one of my dancing partners and awesome friend. I was like in limbo all day, all night and today. I havent had the energy to do anything. We are here one day and the next we are not. He used to tell me all the time…even if you cant dance because of your hip you can still go and watch us. But, I didnt go on thursday and he was drinking…I have been asking myself….why someone didnt take his keys away or gave him a ride. I know he was a grown man but even if he would have wipped my ass I would have taken his keys away if I would have been there. It could have been avoided. But, the past is past and it was his time. I can only pray for him and dance my ass off when I can because that is what he would have wanted. Waiting to hear about the funeral service and rosaries.
