just trying to get some feedback on Jump rope as my source for cardio and if anyone has any suggestions on they best way do do it?

Personally I think anything that can raise your heart rate as and improve your endurance is a great way to do cardio. Its good that you are looking into other forms because it helps to keep things interesting. Jumping rope is no mild or easy thing though. You’ll find that it can be just as serious as running on a track or any stationary bike.
Best way to do it is start off slow. You need to develop a rythm which would help with your timing. Don’t feel discouraged if it takes a little while. Before you know it you’ll be jumping fo 20-30 minutes. Good luck!

To add to what Lex is saying, cause everything he did say is right, but you can also jump rope between sets during weight training to make your workout more of a interval workout. Jennifer Nicole Lee swears by that technique.
