Sit ups and crunches are good. Also, doing the ab machines where you can add weight can be helpful to help create deeper gaps between you ab muscles.
Ultimately though, the way to get your abs to pop is to get a really really low bf%.
Some of my favorite ab exercises are crunches on a ball, decline crunches (without letting your shoulder blades touch), and hanging leg raises. Those are the ones I feel the most anyway.

Cardio, cardio, cardio, cardio, cardio…….ab exercise 2 to 3 times a week. I’m taking for granted that u eat right already.

Abs are just like any other muscle on your body, work them and they will grow. But you may be wasting time with crunches if you don’t have the proper diet to lose the fat that covers them. Keep in mind that abs are stabilizing muscles that should be tight when working any body part, but you should still do isolation exercises for them. I only focus on abs once a week with weighted movements.
As for cardio, yes it will burn calories, but you can always control your calorie intake through diet. I hate cardio with a passion so I keep my diet really clean. My abs did not make an appearance until I got very disciplined with my diet.
Everyone has a six pack…it’s the fat in the way that’s the problem. Good luck!

Well everyone has abs, just the only reason you can see some and not others is the bodyfat percentage. If your eating a clean diet and adding some sort of cardio twice a week, you should start to lean out. Thats the only way your gonna see any type of six pack.
Women tend to carry more fat in the mid-section, thighs and glutes.

HIIT is pretty effective. It’s a good way to get most of the benefits of cardio in less time as it keeps your heart rate accelerated for quite a while after you’ve finished the actual exercise.
There are lots of articles about it on this site and the general interwebz.
