Howdy partner.

So, I have this friend that has been buggin’ me for months to train with me and become my training partner. I have told him numerous times over the past few months that I will help him out with advice, programmes etc but that I prefer training alone nowadays. Mainly because I have had unreliable/lazy/uncommitted/weak training partners before and I don’t like it when they detract from my workouts. You know how it is. Most of you have been in that boat as well right?

Well, in a moment of weakness, today I agreed to let him be my training partner, but strictly only for 4 weeks. Then it is adios amigo and I am going to go back to training alone again. I have told him he had better not let me down in those 4 weeks and he has agreed to try hard and push himself.

I have not had a training partner in years so this will be quite novel. I am already getting aprehensive about it.

I would like nothing more than to be able to blog after 4 weeks about how great this guy was as a training partner and how I would love to continue training with him. I doubt that is going to happen though. I hope he proves me wrong. I hope he exceeds my expectations.

Well, I guess only time will tell. We start next friday.

wish me luck :) .

    I would rather…I mean…how do you…but…I mean, like…wait…doesn’t this involve…like…*shudders* interacting with…like…another…human?

lol. you are not inspiring me with a lot of confidence. haha.
I’ve already got cold feet about this and in a way i already regret agreeing to let him partner up.
Maybe once he sees how hard I go and how heavy he has to train he will not come back. I’ve had that happen before. haha.
