After my 12 week program, I took some time to enjoy food again. I went up around 5 or so lbs overall, since around 5 lbs I lost is due to water weight (on the June 4th weigh in). I’m looking forward to getting back in the gym and hitting it hard again. Overall I don’t think I’ve lost too much ground. Once I go back to eating clean and 3 to 4 days of cardio it should be a non-issue. My main push initially will be to get to the 315 "Benchmark" on flat bench. Although this is more of an ego issue (people don’t ask how much you Deadlift) I still need to be able to say 315, b/c I’m honest and say 285.
Strangely enough when I’m repping a weight say for 8 or more, using the 1 rep max calculator I’m stronger than I am when attempting the same weight it says I can push (If that makes any sense). Basically I’m stronger repping than maxing, I’m not sure why that is but it is (could be mental when attempting the big weights).
In any case It’s On Again!
Lift Hard!
